So pointing out the obvious truth about Canelo’s history with ridiculous scorecards in his favor and wanting to do everything possible to ensure you get a fair shake (unlike what’s happened to several other canelo opponents) is making excuses in advance? Canelo is just overly sensitive and hates whenever anyone brings up the blemishes in his legacy such as shady scoring, catch weights and clen.

BJ also mentioned something about how its fishy that canelo is already negotiating a fight for the fall with Plabt on numerous occasions. He's also said other things that I can't recall.

BJ saunders has months to train and seem to be in shape, so he can't give the excuse of being unprepared since he and his team internally know full well that the canelo fight was next for a while, but the judges issue is a concern, so hopefully it doesn't detract him. BJ has to dominate canelo fully or KO canelo, but easier said than done.

This is all normal banter and any one who fights Canelo out there with a style like BJ would have a concern of how the judges would see a points fight and Canelo responding as he did , all normal banter. I never understood this “style” of BJS as a threat when Canelo helps readers understand the context of experience. So many boxers get criticized for the opposition they face but when BJS is brought up it’s as if fans forget what they were talking about.

Boxing is a sport based on reflexes and dog. Fans need to realize that Canelo will be the best counter puncher BJS has ever fought. Canelo will be the hardest puncher BJS has ever fought. Canelo will be the most experienced fighter BJS has ever fought.

so when it’s all said in done, fans bringing up judges is just cliche unoriginality.

BJS is the same guy that asked Canelo at the GGG conference why did you drop your belt against GGG... Canelo responded about the purse bid and his All Star legal lawsuit. BJS wasn’t expecting that answer.

BJS is the same guy who told Eubank Jr. to his face that GGG would beat them both on the same night.
