Saunders will be giving ground for sure. How effective his jab will be while giving ground is going to determine how much ground he has to give and how fast he’ll be giving it.

      " . . . has a skillset that Alvarez hasn’t seen before in his 58 pro fights. "

      Does anyone really believe this?

He'll be defo trying to run, but Canelo is too good at cutting of the ring.

I can see BJS looking good for a few rounds for running out of gas and getting stopped.

I hate BJS but he definitely has the style to frustrate Canelo. I think Canelo will win close decision but wouldn’t be surprised if BJS gets the nod. BJS only path to victory is a decision. Either way this fight is going the distance.

The difference in this fight will be the 70k screaming mexican canelo fans. I don’t think bjs is ready for that atmosphere with the fans all singing to Vicente Fernandez and booing anything he does. Canelo will use the crowd to his advantage and I see a Liam smith stoppage via body punch.

Prediction: Saunders will end up running from Alvarez. He can't let things get heavy with Alvarez or he'll go the way of Khan. He will try to shoot-and-scoot, and that will evolve into just scoot.

An under-appreciated fact is that Alvarez is almost as hard to hit clean as Mayweather, and he can hit about as hard as Golovkin. I don't expect Saunders will be able to catch him while trying to keep from getting clobbered himself. The only solution will be to move, move, move, because Saunders does not appear to be the kind of personality to go out on his shield. Expect a dull fight with a lot of movement, followed by Saunders mouthing off and making excuses and demanding a rematch.

Saunders is going to run, throw a punch or two and grab. Expect to see him whizzing around the ring and people booing loudly. Saunders will do this until Canelo's body punches slow him down a bit, then Billy Joe will receive a brutal beat down to loud cheers from the crowd. How long Saunders survives depends on how tolerant the ref will be of his holding and refusing to let go. For the most part, it is going to an ugly fight. Caleb Plant is probably trying to figure out how to avoid Canelo in September. If he does avoid Canelo, there is a chance of seeing a Canelo vs Benavidez in September.

Gettin more exited as the date approaches and BJS hasn't pulled out of the fight, I'm thinking this might actually happen, official prediction Friday's next week.

I'm a 100% confident he'll make it to the final belt.
