What are you talking about? De la Hoya wasn't chasing him. Sweet Pea doesn't run. Look, just because a fighter can't hit his opponent doesn't mean the opponent ran. It's called moving your head and torso. De la Hoya just wasn't good at hitting a moving target. MOST fighters these days aren't. That's why so many defensive fighters do well.

Instead, of fans today complaining about good defense MAYBE we should start demanding better offense. For example, I'm no Pacquiao fan at all, but he's one of the VERY FEW fighters today who can hit a moving target. It's a virtually lost art and probably the main reason "boring" defensive fighters do so well in this day and age.

DLH didn't land. That's not Whitaker's fault. You cant win a fight just because you're throwing a lot of punches and missing. Go back and look at DLH's career. Anytime he ever fought anyone with some movement he couldn't land. BUT the "hardcore fans" don't want to admit that. It's always someone else's fault that Oscar couldn't land punches against good defensive fighters.

Be honest, DLH looked way better against Trinidad than he did against Whitaker. Against Trinidad his offense and defense were fluid. His combinations were smooth and accurate. He looked slick. Against Whitaker, he was frustrated and lost. He got knocked down from a clean counter. He couldn't get punches off. He was hesitant and robotic.

Add it all together man; he got robbed against Trinidad and Whitaker got robbed against him.

                DLH-Trinidad.

Even though DLH basically gave the last few rounds away, I still had him winning by a good amount.

I don't think Whitaker-DLH was a robbery, though. It was a pretty close fight but I thought Whitaker deserved it.

Does calling me a punk ass make you feel tough? Calm your ***g0t emotions down youngin. Of course I watched the fight.

You cant fight defensively and throw nothing but feather fisted jabs that cant even hurt a child and get a win. This is boxing, and in boxing your expected to try and hurt your opponent.

Sweet Pea fought a pretty fight, but he didn't fight to win.

If Floyd wanted to land 4 Jabs a round and not get hit for the entire fight, he could do it vs anyone. It's a lot easier to not get hit when your not doing **** offensively.
