Do you think Fernando Vargas was ruined by Tito?

No, he looked good in the De La Hoya fight still and looked his same old self. Somewhere in between that fight and the Shane Mosley fight he completely lost it.

I've always maintained that his 20 fight career should not have come up against Tito,he was green!!

He was green BUT he still had a tremendous fight with De La Hoya which was close up until the time of the KO & he beat Castillejo after that as well.

VArgas was def. fed to the lions early, he was only 22 yrs old, in todays boxing world a 22 yr old fighter is relatively an unproven prospect, Vargas fought a prime undefeated Tito Trinidad

^^ i think that oscar totally owned him in their fight.. his only moment was in the first round when he almost threw oscar out of the ring besides that moment.. it was all oscar.

he was ruined by tito... i remember him getting stuned & dropped by wilfredo rivera.. after his fight with tito pretty easy... he was ruined. he won a belt from who? ohh.. ok...jose alfredo flores

I voted no....I don't think he was ruined, but like Cotto he wasn't 100%.

that's not the question at all.. the question is wether he was ruined after Trinidad or not.
wether he was fed to the lions too early isn't up for debate since we all know he was.

No. Trinidad had a hand in it, but the way Vargas drank, ate, no one knows what else just fucked up his body. Not to mention all the shots he took even before Trinidad.
