Damn, the Golden Boy vs. the Baddest Man in the planet would certainly do over 1 million PPV’s. Gotta say not a bad matchup at all Masvidal boxrec record is 1-0 plus he hits like a mule not saying he beats De La Hoya but does have a puncher chance.

I’m confused, “this is the last fight of his UFC contract...” Ben Askren I would imagine didn’t have a multi deal with UFC. They make it sound like UFC does or would do Triller a favor of just handing over a fighter?Comment

Masvidal fights on Saturday. He says its the last fight of his UFC deal, meaning that he can do whatever he wants next.Comment

Yeah that doesn’t sound right, I mean even if he wins would he just dump the belt? I just don’t think you can walk away from UFC like that, unless they want to release you I doubt they would allow that, they are like PBC in a way. They are the ones that releases you...Comment

He's fighting for the UFC belt on Saturday. If he wins I doubt he'll be contractually able to leave. Supposedly there is some "champions clause" in UFC that keeps you around longer if you have a belt. Not that I suspect he does win, but it's certainly possible.Comment

I think they meant baddest mfer on the planet.
And he's been that since he won the baddest mfer title vs Nate Diaz iirc. Dana got on some WBC guy sh^t for a minute making up a title.Comment

Vanes walked away from PBC. He regretted it, but he did itComment
