They will remember this era maybe as something even worse - not just the era of circus acts - but God forbid, as only the start of the circus acts. And those two idiotic Paul brothers may only be the beginning, a tip of the growing iceberg.

You think circus acts in boxing are new??? Fooking Ali fought some pro wrassler who crab walked after him for 15 rounds ffs lmfao. And more disturbingly Jack Johnson was blindfolded & put into the ring to fight numerous other black boxers til one was left. Unfortunately the circus has always been a part of boxing.

Well, I'm not sure either, but ... out of the lot, Porter is probably the one to accept the challenge. For good money, obviously. The thing is, none of the guys mentioned are desperate for money, so they will wait for something as good money wise , but not as risky.

Those are always recognized as what they were, as circus acts....but the current day I think is going to see an uptick and like you agreed with the other guy, boxing will not be looked too kind upon down the line (age poorly) if we see more and more youtubers taking center stage now that the internet and TV make stars from reality TV and youtube itself is a huge form of reality TV introduction and continuation.

I was talking about how sh^tty the sport works on the so called serious side of the sport. Boots ain't getting in no fight we wanna see him in this year unless we get lucky. Hell we've been waiting on Errol vs Bud for like 2 years or whatever now. I think we all know the non-serious side of the sport like this Triller stuff is non-serious stuff & is meant to entertain more than represent the sport like Top Rank, PBC, Matchroom, all the platforms that show boxing & the boxers & their teams. But that non-serious novelty sh^t has been around for a hundred years easy. Its nothing new & I don't see it upticking. Hell Butterbean was on PPV's & regular TV 20x more than Jake Paul has been on so far probably a decade or w/e ago. I think lotsa fans got a selective memory with this circus stuff so they can always act like NOW is the worst cuz there are some fans, not saying you, who've been living in NOW being the worst time for decades. Although to be quite honest I can see that logic cuz so many things in boxing have been diminished in these last couple eras, but it has nothing to do with Jake Paul, Butterbean, Antonio Inoki or racist ass & fooked up battle royal boxing. It has to do with the so called serious side of the sport & all these guys in power & who make the rules looking towards making money instead of making the sport better & representing the sport as a sport over a check cashing business.

I think Thurman could be pushed into a position of desperation quicker than Showtime Shawn would be down for a nice check Boots fight. Thurman is still outside looking in. Showtime Shawn is very likely the backup plan for Bud if Bud doesn't get the Manny fight as has been mentioned previously. Thurman isn't on anyone's shortlist right now. Thurman is in fact another guy Porter said he wouldn't fight right now & he gots a L to try to reverse but thats how far behind the 8 ball Thurman is right this moment.
