Yea I'm of the same mind. I dig both guys & think both guys got some good sh^t to show some of the better guys at 147, but Boots is doing some whole other level sh^t. If Boots can take a punch, & he seemed solid enough when Lipinets landed a couple nice shots on him, & he gets a lil craftier in the ring by fighting more world class guys idk that anyone is beating him. Right now if Boots got the call up vs Bud or Errol I think I'd have to pick Boots abit a close fight. In another 12 months or so I think I wouldn't be thinking about it at all cuz I think Boots would have likely gotten better in that period & he'd be my off the cuff pick. Bud, Errol y'all mfers need to go to 154 quick lol.

That said cuz boxing makes no sense outta the ring I got no hope Boots gets a #1 guy fight this year & I don't see it happening til 18mos to 2yrs from now with how boxing operates. Best case is somehow Boots lifts a vacant belt & we got THREE guys you could argue is #1 at 147 instead of the current two.

Ennis vs Ortiz will be a good fight.. Both are unbeaten.. It's like Dubios vs Joyce.. The winner moves on to the next level while the loser will have time to pick up the broken pieces and rise up again. I slightly favor Ennis over Ortiz but i would not be surprise if Ortiz wins.. Both are heavy handed and it will be a good fight til it last

that's exactly what Chris Byrd and Ibeabuchi did in 98. That's exactly what Ibeabuchi and Tua did in 97. That's exactly what Starling and Curry did in 82. And all of these fighters were undefeated. I blame the promoters and fighters. Let's get ortiz vs ennis NOW and not wait until 2027

Why don't EVERYONE get on Bud's ass to fight one of these guys. His fans are always giving him a pass for holding out. He still hasn't even proved he belongs at 147. People are still ridin his nutz, for what he did 4-5 years ago. Step up and fight the young guns and really prove himself. Instead of CHASING 42 year old Pacquiao around for SIX YEARS.

In boxing money talks. Ennis' team will need to put up the required $$ to get those fights. If they don't/can't, or if he doesn't sign with a promoter who will, it isn't happening anytime soon. Unfortunately that's the business reality.

he's young and naive thinking that Spence will fight him this year, next year or ever for those titles, his only hope is if Spence vacates his belts and moves up to 54, in the meantime Ennis should just keep bashing on a smaller B,C - level guys on the Showtime PBC cards

Other than Thurman and Shawn Porter, who I seriously doubt have the courage to fight Boots, I would add WBC #2 Mikey Garcia! Mikey would be perfect because of his ranking, and his fan base! Mikey would give Boots great exposure, and Boots would give Mikey a legitimate claim that he deserves another title shot! MAN UP!

Boots is the real deal. I say he fights Ugas NOW. On one hand he beats Ugas and legitimizes himself as a top dog or the other Ugas beats him and proves he is the world champion he was elevated to. It's simple if you ask me. I know that wont happen because Ugas and Spence are gonna fight but let's be real that's just another belt grab in Spences eyes.

You're on point! If they think he's a problem @ 23, wait until he's 27! Other than Porter or Thurman, I think Boots (Cameron Dunkin) should go after Mikey Garcia! Mikey is smart, and ambitious! He knows that beating Boots would get him a title shot, and he's already WBC #2! Mikey just might be crazy enough to take the bait! Boots' team need to start throwing out numbers in the $3-5 Million to make this happen, or they need to get the IBF to make a fight between him and Porter, or Kudratillo Abduqaxorov!
