We have four different belt holders at MW. Of the four, GGG is definitely the biggest name. He is also the oldest and the most accomplished. He is also lined up for a unification fight at the end of the year. No one else has any unification fights lined up. And it's GGG that needs to do more?

The headline is misleading though, as Hearn's comments are calling for either Charlo or GGG to fight Andrade.

Charlo should face Andrade by year end. Then winner of that can face winner of GGG vs Murata next year for undisputed.

Who knows when GGG is going to retire, but at his age, with his plan being to unify in his next fight, I think it's hard to criticise him.

The other guy said ggg, Andrade and charlo should earn their canelo shot. So your argument is to say Saunders Kovalev and smith were world champions? Well ggg is a world champion and canelo has yet to get a non controversial win over the old man. I’d think a fighter who was really chasing greatness should want to do that instead of pretending that he got a convincing W. Last I checked both Andrade and charlo were world champions also, In 2 different divisions and charlo was actually canelos mandatory. Now the ball is in your court. I say he is the biggest name, the oldest and the most accomplished. If you disagree with any of that, make your case. Don't interpret it incorrectly as me saying he is the best.

If you think picking a unification fight is cause for complaint, then why are you not complaining about Charlo and Andrade? Where are their attempts to unify?

I'm not breaking my back making excuses for him -- for me, a unification fight is OK as the next fight. I don't think it's controversial to view unifications as positive things for a division.


And when you type FACT, you really should be typing OPINION. Your opinion is that he really should have rematched Derevyanchenko. I think that would have been a decent move as well. None of this if fact though; just opinion.
