the only real shame was people buying this thing for 50 bucks expecting a night of good old fashioned boxing. we call them idiots.

actually there were two shames. i want to punch whoever let oscar embarrass himself on camera hard and as many times as it takes until he loses consciousness. what a shame that was. they were obviously leaving himi out there for shock value without any respect for the fact that he's a drug addicted man with two decades of demons chasing him 24/7

I had a good free stream, but I found myself clicking away often. I like Snoop, I like the Black Keys. I really didn't want to spend my night weeding through stuff I didn't care to see, though (Pete Davidson. Slap Boxing). In the end, I turned it off midway through the Prograis fight. I don't know who the target audience was, but it sure wasn't me. I think the "something for everyone" approach led to a mess that even the most patient audience doesn't want to see.

Was way too mainstream and felt staged. Some parts were straight cringe worthy. One small step away from becoming the WWE in my opinion and if this trend catches on, we can effectively say goodbye to the boxing that we know and love. This will transform the sport into 1 big circus and it will resemble nothing like boxing is today.

It will be mainstream and kids will talk about it. It won’t be the way boxing is though.

I hope this isn’t the case.

Triller....you got my 50 dollars. Now, here's my two cents.

The Triller broadcast was AWFUL. I will NEVER purchase another PPV from them. EVER. Two rounds of "boxing" in the first TWO hours. Terrible camera angles. Cutting away from live action mid-round to show Pete Davidson walking around??? A slap-fight??? Really??? I didn't pay $50 for a night crappy music with some occasional boxing thrown in.

The broadcast team was terrible. Al Bernstein was the only respectable person and he was drowned out by all the nonsense being spewed. The rest of the broadcast team was like the guys you invite over ONCE for a PPV and never invite them back because they wont STFU!!!! They were distracting and disgusting. At the beginning of the main event, one of the broadcasters said, "I'm about to cum. I'm going to cum really ___ hard." Seriously???? Come on, man. Who wants to hear that garbage??? The whole broadcast was an embarrassment.

Teofimo Lopez - If you read this....I'm a huge fan of yours....but I'll never see your fights if you're on Triller. They got me once.........but never again. I hope you go back to ESPN, Fox or DAZN where a family can watch your fight and root for you together.

Triller....enjoy my $50. Those are the last dollars I'll ever send your way. I'll continue buying from the family-friendly, professional broadcasters like FOX, ESPN and DAZN.

boxing is the exploitation of talent and labor by elites ot make money. always has been. in the past it was WORSE. a lot worse. go back a century and traditional boxing events were segregated, or included battle royales where black fighters would fight 3 guys at once.
HBO and all the platforms that put out boxing looked at the bottom line but they did not get confused as to what they wanted to do for that night and it was a boxing event. They paid professional announcers who stuck to boxing, and they hired and focused on the fights. Same for the match makers. I don't mind what they do but just if they really slip up and someone gets hurt or worst in the ring I do not want to see headlines saying "Man fighting for his life after a boxing event" bc that would be a lie if it was a Triller event. Dont drag boxing down while you pull in your bucks is all. That is fair enough.

They crushed it... the event was great, despite them having to have Oscar's wife come pick him up halfway through the event.

Maybe don't bother waking up Justin Beiber for his set next time.

                  An absolute nightmare.
To any remotely serious boxing fan it was just ghastly.
Some horrible fights - total mismatches.

Long waits for fights having to endure boring acts.
If this is the future we are doomed.

That Steve-O wannabe summed it up best – "I hope they start kissing! D'ya think they'll start kissing?!"

Boxing is so, utterly, well and truly, DEAD.

The event was wild no doubt. I mean the commentary was crazy. There was borderline offense commentary and then they got lit at some point, lol. I get it. They're trying to cater more to the youth and create this glamor event that is more than just boxing. I'm just not sure who it is for. The casuals probably want the Bieber concert in there. The actual boxing fans do not. How can they both live in harmony in the same world where it is very different? lol.

Personally, I stepped away during the concerts and walked back when I knew a fight was about to begin but the part where I had to look away bothered me. I never had to do that with real boxing event ppvs (or non ppvs).
