Could have been much better, it was headed to be the best year for years to come, but then injuries kicked in and the big fights were getting canceled... I wouldn't go on to say that to be honest pacman...

Think about it, 3 Boxers have passed away (R.I.P) and think about all the cancellations... it was expected to be so much better after the Pacquiao vs Hatton fight after all these fights were signed, now they've been canceled. It has been a good year of Boxing fight wise, obviously taking away the tragic deaths... but I wouldn't go on to say its gonna be the best of the decade.

Believe me, Boxing got much more recognition in 2007 and 2008 in England than it has this year... even taking the fact that Calzaghe was fighting out of the picture... it just got more publicity.

I havent seen much this year that i would call spectacular but the future fights for 09 could indeed be the best fights of the decade
