  • the boxing term his legs have gone what does actually mean

i know shot fights become very chinny and output goes down blah blah blah

but what i wanna know is why do boxing experts say the fighters legs have gone

the example is from the book four kings where a guy called michael katz said haglers legs had gone against mugabi but i always thought that was implying that the fighter was shot!!!

but hagler took some bombs from a knock out king

does it mean is moblity has gone????

be great if someone could explain it to me

it's when you can no longer make sharp movements with your feet and the your general foot speed is gone,if I think its like when you run a 400m race and your legs are tired so you can barely walk or if you spar and after going for so long you can no longers move around because your legs fill heavy forcing to stop moving
