in the end, snoop turned out to be funny
the mexican ring announcer/commentator guy turned out to be decent. he was the worst thing ive seen on dazn on that ggg card..and yet he's prob a better commentator than every one of them dazn commentators. they need to bring him back as a commentator. i know it was a corny crappy event, but he's actually good.

      ben askren is absolutely awful.

What exactly did they get robbed of? Most who bought this PPV was for Jake Paul and trust me they are not disappointed at what they watched.

Jake Paul wants to fight Conor McGregor, and here's how he can entice McGregor into signing: First, Paul now signs to fight Askren in an MMA rules/cage fight. Regardless of the outcome, Paul then challenges McGregor to two bouts (both boxing/MMA). If that doesn't get McGregor to sign, then nothing will. What has Jake Paul got to lose by facing Askren in the cage? What has he got to gain? Short of being crippled or dying in the cage, Paul has millions and millions to gain via the boxing/MMA proposal. I doubt that there'd be any top MMA striker who would not sign for a chance to face Paul in the cage following a boxing match. Better yet, even Dana White would be eager to share in the wealth which such a proposal would create. I hope that Paul goes for it.

I said a while back that I wouldn't watch this as I had no idea who Askren was and only limited idea who Paul is.
Ben Askren - not a boxer; vs Jake Paul - not a boxer.

Not something I had interest in.

But I caved. I went and had a look. Kind of intrigued whether a YouTuber with limited boxing training could beat a trained fighter with no boxing background?

In the end it was irrelevant. Askren didn't look trained technically or physically. Paul looked awkward. The final right hand was pretty spectacular but no boxer lets you do that.

So what did we learn today? Stick with your first instinct.

It's quite an indictment on boxing today that Paul is probably getting paid more money than the cruiserweight world champions.

It says more about YouTube than it does about boxing.

People make millions opening packaging or playing video games. Stands to reason that they'll make good money actually doing something noteworthy like boxing.

People spending money on this BS really is making boxing look more and more like some reality show bs. Shame on the promoter of these circuses!
