Williams won 2-3 rounds, which is 2-3 rounds more than he should have won, if Andrade is as good as he says
A few of the rounds Andrade won were also competitive
I don’t see Golovkin/Jermall vs Williams as anything but KO losses for Williams. I don’t think Murata would have many problems with him either, though unfair comparison given Murata’s fighting style

Far from a blowout, Andrade won clearly on the scorecards with most of the rounds being very competitive. He looked very uncomfortable at times like he just wanted this over with and I would say looked kinda bad considering how he was supposed to dominate.Comment

The fight wasn't close. If Andrade wanted to he could've gotten Liam Williams out of there a lot earlier by either the third or fourth round had he put his punches together more; When it became abundantly clear that Demetrius was the stronger puncher of the two. Unfortunately, for Andrade he lacks both the ring IQ and boxing instinct to put fighters away. Also, the irony of boxing fans talking about a Charlo unification bout; Please! That fight would be mismatch in favor of Jermall because Andrade is just too afraid to hit and too afraid of being hit. I just don't see him being champion for very long. He got exposed tonight against Liam Williams. He let his foot off the gas pedal after having his opponent badly broken and hurt and was nearly knocked out as a result of it.
Eddie himself just said that Demetrius can fight on other networks and that he would cost in the same ballpark as Derevyanchenko (who did not come into the Jermall fight with a belt)Comment

It was a clear win for Andrade, but he was pushed hard. But why didn't the ref take points for constant holding from Andrade? That was b1tch made. If it was Liam doing all the holding, he'd have been deducted about 2-3 points and forced to stop it, otherwise he'd be DQ'd.Comment

Andrade won 9 rounds to 3 tonight with a 10-8 round included. Williams was competitive at best and seemed to buzz or hurt Andrade once too.
A vallient effort by the Brit but came up short as expected.Comment

GGG is not beating Andrade. We've already see time and time again that even though he says he loves street fights, he's not the type of fighter who is willing to take one to give one. Any time he fights anyone half decedent he just stays behind the jab, abandons his body attack, and is terrified to take risks. That's exactly what he will do against Andrade and he will lose bad because of it.Comment
