damn you’re simple. Live gate is the smallest % of money that fights generate. The main money is made on Ppv and subscriptions in the case of dazn. The fact remains that canelos numbers have been trash since he went to Dazn. The only somewhat recent fight people cared about was vs ggg. And yeah, Oscar said there was a contract but gave no specifics. I mean there’s was also a trash lowball offer to ggg of a flat fee with no Ppv upside that ggg declined. Since you’re living under a rock, fighters aren’t going to short change themselves for a big Ppv fight. That’s why ggg, charlo, smith and Saunders all declined initial offers from canelo because those offers ******. But canelo on the other hand took less money than what he was offered by pbc for these dazn fights. You need to learn a little more about the sport to keep up with me.

Nothing about last nights fight makes me think Canelo would struggle with Andrade, and I think it's fair to say that I'm one of the last posters on here that would be considered a Canelo Fanboy.

Canelo would knock him out. I like Andrade he seems like a cool dude and I love oddballs. He should stay at 160 I think he could beat everyone other than Jermall and I don’t see Canelo coming down. He lacks natural strength and durability which will be his undoing. Still a talented fighter nevertheless

It most certainly is about growing a pair.

These guys don't want the smoke because they are afraid they'll be embarassed by Andrade.

Nobody can tell me they won't fight a world champion because he is boring.

I do suppose Andrade getting a taste of his own medicine because I remember when he fought Culcay instead of Lara he said he would only fight Lara as a last resort because Lara is boring.

Andrade is not fan friendly and will not produce big PPV numbers. Would it be hard to look good against Andrade because of his style? Of course but if he had star power, the big fights would be there. I was always an Andrade guy who thinks he does have some talent. I attended a few of his fights for that reason. With that being said he has had bouts of inactivity and his safety first style may prolong his career but it is also a hindrance. Boxing is a business and there is always going to be the risk versus reward factor. I wish Andrade well but excitement sellls! Case in point, untested Edgar Berlanga! More casuals have heard of him and he hasn't even fought a live body yet!

Bottom line, Charlo was offered the Canelo fight. He declined it. There was and has never been any ducking from Canelo's part. Take the money or stfu about it.
