Jake does it anyway and I applaud him for that.

What's right is right, if you have to step on many feet then so be it. One shouldn't worry about offending the corrupt.

He is also about to fight for his 2nd regular WBA title. He is well looked after by the WBA. If he is indifferent why is there such an obvious pattern of affiliation here?

Not sure why you brought up Golovkin, far from my favourite fighter, but has only held 1 regular title in his career. The lineage of the title ended when Canelo sat on it for years without defending it. He isn’t relevant at all here
I didn't follow that Machado belt situation. I don't pay much attention to trinkets. I stopped recognizing all belts very long ago. I only came here to say what I said to ShoulderRoll. Not gonna give belts any traffic.

      Have a nice day.

I agree with that, but it's very risky too. Not many 'journalists' really dare.
If fans really dislike belts, they can stop giving them traffic, or use BoxingScene to express their displeasure.

Let's not give them too much energy unless we are crapping on them.

I used to do polls so we could have boxingscene community recognized champions but before I even got through all the divisions people were burnt out on it and back to talking about whoever they choose.

Without bodies, and unofficials like ring and espn there's a real struggle to get consistent participation and recognition of consensus.

I'm not saying that in favor of the bodies, just saying fans suck.

Nobody cares about the belts. Fury and Joshua are main guys in division.

I understand you. Boxing is also an individual sport where you can decide who you think is the best in and around a division, without being told by corrupt orgs. Let's say you think Fury is THE heavyweight champ, then you don't recognize Joshua or anyone else. They will be contenders. That's how I decide personally.

Do one quick mental scan in all divisions (I know you don't like the small guys, but go down as low as you can). Hard to come up with a clear Champ in many divisions. Belts fucked them up!

I used to see your threads.

Both can't be champs. One is a contender. You decide.

I have nothing to decide. They will decide in the ring.

So, Spence and Crawford are not champs, one is a contender? What are you smoking?

You said nobody cares about the belts. I like that energy. In that case, you can't go around and have your own 2 champs in a single division. The concept is you only recognize 1 champ per division (sometimes no clear champ). If I had to rate Bud and Spence, Spence would be at #2 as a contender.

ibf seem to be the least corrupt belt out there.

frick. boxing such a trashy joke sport. can't wait for it to die off forever.
