Should boots leave Pbc before he becomes the next Mall?

Since he is a SHOBox alum, maybe there is some relationship that he can have with Showtime to facilitate some of the PBC opponents that could be ready to be put out to pasture (Danny G, Thurman, Porter). Seems like he's been exclusive to SHO recently unless I'm wrong......Showtime really only seems to have Tank as their main attraction, seems like they should try to keep Ennis around and get him some good PBC oppsiablo14 likes this.

I don't see any Pbc welters fighting him either,I see Boots sitting on the shelf fighting once a yr or twice maybe,& only against worn gatekeepers.

You could argue he might still be champion because there wouldn’t of been a Fury rematch. But he was paid handsomely for that fight, and if he can’t beat Fury then he shouldn’t be champion.

Hes gonna go the same way as spencer.
Pbc will find a popular Mexican lightweight who has no chance to put him on ppv. Then all the other coward AA's will fight him

Boots don't need to sign with PBC.
He just needs Showtime or another broadcaster to get behind him to offer these PBC dudes or anyone that will boost in in the rankings to become mandatory.
He has the fighting skills plus he can promote and looks good.
He's a promoters dream.

If he was to venture away from Showtime and working with PBC, he likely ends like Andrade...a gifted fighter who career is stuck in Neutral and having fights coming up that nobody is talking about and nobody care about like with this Liam Williams fight. Once that Awful deal with Chris Middendorf and Victory Boxing is all cleared up I think he sticks it out with Cameron Dunkin and continues to work with PBC and Showtime. At 147 and especially at 154 where he will end up sooner rather than later...it is no other place to go where he can get better fights at 147 and 154 honestly
So NO! Best thing would be to keep his options open and go fight by fight or 2 Fight Deals Max exactly what Canelo is doing right nowLast edited by sicko; 04-16-2021, 03:25 AM.

Ennis just needs to keep doing what he is doing. If he is seen as a serious threat to Spence then master Al will keep them apart to protect his PPV star. If he signs with somebody else and keeps becoming more of a talent he is guna find it hard to get a fight with any of the PBC cult boys.
Master Al is looking for the next Spence for when Spence moves up or retires, he isn't looking for competition, he's not looking for risks for his star money maker. That's why they are happy to have Spence and Fox pretend Crawford doesn't even exist. He is currently the biggest threat to Spence and that's why that fight is never going to happen.
Same as Wilder v Joshua, same as GRJ, Tank, Jermall Charlo and its looking like Plant is going to be wrapped in cotton wool too.
So Ennis is dammed if he does and dammed if he doesn't. If he is the threat ppl think he is the Al ain't guna allow him a Spence fight regardless of who he is with. But right now he is the place that has access to the most high ranked Welters.Last edited by DaNeutral.; 04-16-2021, 03:39 AM.
