you have me mistaken for someone I am not. I support Spence and know what he is doing. However, after he beats Ugas and Bud doesn’t fight him the only option is to move up.

moving up to 154 means fighting a Charlo. He’s friends with both, he isn’t going to fight them.

Jumping 154 to 160 is the same thing. He won’t fight Charlo, GGG isn’t trying to fight anyone, and the Japanese dude will probably lose his belt by then.

charlo at 160 wants Canelo but hasn’t unified.

charlo at 154, you say he is signed to unify, great stuff but again.... once you unify, you typically move up or take a big fight.

the biggest fight is Canelo in his range, he isn’t fighting his brother at 160, and he isn’t fighting Spence, the next best fight.

so again, in a few years. Maybe 2 years, from 147-160 the game is gonna suck because those three will not fight each other and Canelo isn’t fighting any Charlo bro, and Spence is a long shot because Spence wants 160 and Canelo said he is not fighting 160 anymore.

so, back to my original point, it’s gonna suck.

I suppose Spence would still have the GGG, Derevyanchenko, and Andrade options at 160 if he is willing.

In all honesty though if Mell beats Castano I don't think he gonna stay at 154lbs.

I think he will move to 160lbs and his bro gonna have to move up to 168lbs.

That could leave Spence to move into the 154lbs division when he is done with Ugas.

I feel you. But by the time Jermall would unify the others would have long ago unified already.

They can't wait for him. Granted GGG and Canelo ducked him but Jacobs and Andrade didn't, they called him out repeatedly.

He could have taken the IBF from Jacobs and the WBO from Andrade and chose not to.

He gotta move up and allow Spence and Jermell to continue to build their legacy.

Hopefully he grows a pair too eventually and stop ducking tough fights. I dunno why he hasn't realised just how much he is becoming exposed by Spence and Jermell. Coz when you look at what they are doing and you look at him, you can clearly see the difference.
