Askren doesn't seem to know that he's permitted, if necessary, to move his head, and I would think that short of Askren knocking out Paul almost immediately, that Paul will land fight ending punches fairly early on. Also, wouldn't you think that Askren's trainer would be working on teaching him to move his head? So, is Askren so poor an athlete that he lacks the ability to learn this technique?

Idk if an offensive trainer like Roach is the right guy for Askren. Ben has shown neither striking offense or defense. He needs to just work on getting his defense up to scratch IMO and to potshot and counter the bigger guy. Really expecting the dude to getting laid out though, he’s much smaller and actually looks like he has worse skills.

That is true Hec. Paul does seem committed to boxing so that's a plus.

One word of caution to Jake Paul: avoid clinches -- properly employed Askren's chin is a lethal weapon second only to nunchucks.

Ben's talking about taking down Jake Paul MMA-style. Say what you want about Conor but he never resorted to MMA tactics. He played by the rules of boxing, fought Floyd and tried to win. Seriously Ben talks a lot about the essence of competition blah blah. What does it say about him that he refused to train the weakest part of his game.

absolutely Askren's going to quit during the fight or get DQ'ed and try to laugh it off. In reality, that would be an embarrassment to himself.
