Pbc isn’t a network though and over the last decade plus had been affiliated with Showtime through the Mayweather deal. ESPN had boxing on Friday night fights and before that USA network had Tuesday night fights. ESPN, FOX, Showtime can all work together as long as the money is big enough for a return on investment and what’s what we have seen with Mayweather vs pac and wilder vs fury. The odd man out of course is dayzin whixh is totally operated by a foreign company with foreign goals

Boss move right there. Well done to them, they are clearly serious about boxing and I love that it’s hip hop stars that are the driving force....hip hop and AMERICAN boxing are a natural coupling.
And bravo to DLH and Golden boy for seeking a new partner for their fighters. Leave dayzin to Edward Hearn and his so called “American takeover” and his dayzin ppv’s.....what ever happened to “PPV is dead” anyway?

Excited to see what Triller does here. They certainly are spending big right now and want to get in the combat sports field.
Yep, I saw Oscar De la Hoya doing an advert for Triller last night, and I thought hmmmm interesting... These apps are taking over. A lot of people who aren’t for apps would be stuck. They probably would be carrying their TVs around with them.

It didn't make sense how it would happen because Triller is only doing PPVs but by acquiring FITE which is already a popular fight app that streams PPV and Non PPV events seems logical now they will strike some deal to stream Golden Boy events. Not sure if Golden Boy leaves DAZN completely or keeps that deal and uses Triller/FITE for additional dates like PBC has a deal with showtime and fox. Golden Boy has too many fighters and not enough dates from DAZN.
Depends, they can do what PBC does. They have both Sho and Fox on their platform. DAZN is sub based and Triller/Fite are PPV. So they can have their regular boxers on DAZN, and their PPV fighters on Triller.

Before COVID DAZN agreed to air bi weekly Thursday night fights on top of their once a month bigger cards. I don't think DAZN is honoring that deal anymore and is only giving Golden Boy 1 card a month and it seems like a struggle for them to green light even 1 fight a month for Golden Boy. DAZN also refused to pay Canelo's contract and other US deals they refused to pay like MLB whiparound and Bellator all have left DAZN. I think DAZN is focusing on global subscribers and no longer cares about US market. They closed their boxing office in the US, rebranded DAZN USA to DAZN Boxing. IMO Golden Boy puts on far more entertaining cards then Hearn is doing despite a smaller budget with few card dates from DAZN. Hearn cards cater UK fans and have pretty horrible undercards.

The more the better for the boxers, the boxers just need to be business smart, don’t let someone talk you out of what you are worth.

Look at Team Teo Lopez and how they made boss moves, then look at someone like Davis, Charlo, Kownacki, Ortiz or Wilder. How they were all talked out of making millions. These boxers are plain dumb.

Lopez showed you can be a boxer, have the right people behind or around you, who aren’t using you for their own business interests. Hence why his next fight would be for more money, on a different platform and why he was able to know that his own promoter was trying to sabotage his purse bid.

So far the announced PPV fights on Triller aren't anything to write home about; certainly not worth paying for that's for sure. If people start paying to watch these crap fights, we'll be paying to watch commercials next!

Golden Boy's stable is too large to do 1 show a month and every now and then a PPV. They need 1 big card a month and 2 or more small weekly cards to develop and showcase their prospects. DAZN promised them a Thursday night series before Covid that was going to replace what they had with their ESPN2 friday night fights series when they were still with HBO for bigger monthly cards and PPVs. I see FITE either showing those smaller weekly series fights and PPVs while DAZN keeps their 1 card a month deal in place. Or Golden Boy takes everything off DAZN and FITE get's a weekly series, monthly bigger cards and access to fighters for Triller PPVs

I don't watch people fight because I want to make sure they're taken care of in life. Don't get me wrong, they deserve to be because of what they do but what has this ever had to do with the fan's interests? This sport doesn't have quality control anymore. Jake Paul, George Kambosos, Arreola and Del Boy are all PPV fighters right now? What boxing needs is to be monopolized.
