Like I said, I don't disagree that it would be great to see. But it's not realistic these days. He's not going to go to America, to fight somebody nobody back home has heard of, for a lot less than he would make fighting a less dangerous 'name' fighter on a Matchroom card, for no title in a fight that would set him back a year+ if he lost. Every hater would come out of the woodwork saying "I told you he was a bum". So it just doesn't make sense.

This isn't aimed at you, but boxing fans in general are the worst. They demand good fights and then trash anybody who steps up and loses so they deserve fighters being risk averse.

    You think he would make
less money fighting Ennis in a big PPV card here as one of the undercards or as a main event on Showtime or FOX?

I don't know the financials but yeah I imagine he's got a good cheque coming from shows he's been headlining (It's Sky Sports here)

As soon as he takes on a top 10 opponent that'll likely be PPV in the UK too. They're cheaper here but used for less good fights too

If the money from a PPV card undercard over there did make sense and it's say a title eliminator then perhaps you could make the case. But, I suspect they'd still see it as riskier than it needs to be. I genuinely would be interested to see that fight, I just don't think it happens without a title and the recognition/money that comes with it on the line.

To be fair, right now, judging from his resume, Ennis is knocking on the door of a title shot already, his team must be targeting a title eliminator next you'd think. Benn isn't as far along as that, he's going to want the big names but his team are all being more realistic, sounds like they're expecting Avanesyan to vacate and him to fight somebody else for the European title. Speaking of which, Avanesyan vs Ennis, title eliminator? That does make a lot of sense.

I saw one of his fights from 2017, He was KD twice in the 1st rd and Get himself his 2 KD in the last 2 rds. Exciting fighter, still raw but definitely has power. Khan fight us a Good test.
