Never saw someone "pretend" to be a certain weight at the weigh in and the commission falling for it! What are you 9n about? As long as he makes 147 lbs at the weigh in then he's a welterweight! That's a terrible narrative and D level trolling at best
Boots is another middleweight pretending he is a welterweight

I don't think Ennis is even close to middleweight size, at least not yet.
He is tall for welterweight but he seems more lean than anything else. Of course he will fill out more as he gets older and eventually become a middleweight at some point because he has room to carry the weight.
But as of right now he is a tad bit leaner than Jermell Charlo, who is a good size junior middle.Comment

If he's really a middleweight then he should be severely weight-drained for his fights, right?
So he's looking impressive despite draining himself. Imagine him at a healthy weight? He'd be even more scary!Comment

i agree with this sentiment...if you make the weight you made the weight and you can fight there........if its a struggle then its a detriment to youI never understood this. If he can make the weight, then he can fight in that weight class. If he was so big and struggling to cut down, then he is sacrificing a part of him to make the weight.
But eventually I see this man becoming a three weight world champion, not sure if he will be able to fight above 160 though.
but this guy has always been a **** poster...he hates on pbc guys or any black guy that fights on a pbc network that might be affiliated with haymon.....he tells you ennis is really a MW but then has no shot against porter or spence because theyre strong and could fight in higher divisions? which i assume he means would be MW too? so why does ennis have no shot against those guys if hes also capable of being MW?
its just typical sunday morning hate on a guy from the usual suspects who want to see guys like ennis failComment

Oh boy here we go again haha
Ennis is a force to be reckon with at 147. It’s not his fault all these current welterweight champs and fighters are all under 5’8. Ennis is to me is a true welterweight while the other 147lbs are blown up 140’s.Comment

First of all, I fixed that for you.
Second, are you calling him a liar? He clearly said he could easily go back to 140 anytime he wanted (and frankly he should because there's a lot more for him there and very few washed/damaged fighters left still there).Comment

Broner said he could make 135. And Crawford does talk a lot nonsense at times.Comment
