Hahaha. That one made me lol.it was very close. calzaghe got busted up with clean punches all fight especially in the later rounds where mr. stamina is supposed to be great and "adapt" to find a way to win. it just looked like he was holding bika to keep him from murdering him. im guessing glen johnson would do the same to him. how does calzaghe do well against people who come at him? lacy? who else? no one good thats for sure.
Daggum is a star of this forum for sure. A true joker.Comment

that is some damn good fight analysis.Prime Calzaghe would easily beat Johnson, by a wide UD. As somebody said before, Calzaghe thrives against fighters who come towards him, and Johnson fits that description. His combo's, and angles would confuse Johnson, and he would lose badly. The only chance Johnson would have is a lucky punch, but Calzaghe has a solid chin, and has only been knocked down a few times in his entire career. And the only time he has been legitimately hurt was against Byron Mitchell.
Let's be honest, Calzaghe hasn't lost a fight in his whole career. He isn't going to lose to a guy who has 12 defeats. Come on now, Johnson hasn't been robbed in all those fights.Comment

Calzaghe would win, but it is awfully hard to discourage Glen Johnson.Comment

Why the head shake? If anybody else had 12 defeats they would be labelled as a bum, yet Johnson somehow can beat Calzaghe?
Joe would never lose to a man who has been beaten by Ottke, Vanderpool, Sheika, Kiwanuka, Branco, Harman, and Woods.Comment

Calzaghe would beat him, but it's got nothing to do with his undefeated record vs. Johnson's 12-loss record. Records don't mean ****. I look at Johnson and see a guy who has taken on everyone, beaten most of them, and in turn is extremely experienced. And we all know he's been in so many close fights that could have gone either way, and in some cases he was straight up robbed.
My biggest problem with this generation of fight fans is that they are too concerned with the 0 in the loss column. Losses, sometimes at least, means you've take on quality opposition and you've gained experience.Comment
