You guys are smoking crack.. josh Taylor is a good fighter and bud is good its better than ****in benavinidez or whatever that one legged guy was called and Amir's "relevant 10 years ago" khan..kell no eyes brook. Taylor is prime, current and actually looks good and ambitious. Hes talented. That's an interesting fight if Taylor is up for it. This is much more competitive than mikey vs Spence size wise. Two of the current top 15 p4p. Make it happen. Why not. Yall so negative. Yeah hes a bit smaller but damn haye beat valuev were talking about a few lbs in difference on the limit. I understand it all I get it but f that ish, josh is going up soon regardless. Ideally it would be this josh vs Ramirez, catterall and then rematch programs or a fight with whoever is current at the time. Go out as undisputed with defenses. Then have one fight at 147 before facing Crawford. In a perfect world, can do all that in 18 months

Listen Crawford went up to 147 as undisputed and who mandatory and has fought one decent guy at 147 since.. won the title off of horn. Taylor can do all that ish tomorrow. You guys have bud on a god level pedestal but it was like that for Spence until porter showed hes human. Let bud go in with a porter, spence you will see hes human. I think taylor would show it too, hes a tough Scottish mf

Even Spence is a level below Crawford honestly. Bud needs to move up to find challenges, but even that division is more of a PBC division. The guy is frozen out. Sign with Oscar or Hearn.
I don't mind seeing an Ortiz fight, then this guy, if he beats Ramirez.
Bob Arum Says Porter Remains Crawford’s Plan-B Option If No Pacquiao
BOXING NEWS 24
By Matt Lieberman
March 6th, 2021
Bob Arum still hasn’t given up on the idea of putting a fight together between Terence Crawford vs. Manny Pacquiao despite the growing unlikelihood of that match taking place. The Top Rank promoter Arum says if he can’t get the Crawford-Pacquiao fight match, he’ll turn his attention to Shawn Porter to match him with Terence. That’s the match-up that has a more practical chance of happening, though.
Arum said Pacquiao’s management team is working with people in the Middle East on a fight against WBO welterweight champion Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs), and they’re hoping they’ll finance the fight.
It’s unknown how long Team Pacquiao has been working with the Middle Eastern group because Arum has talked about this for months now. For the negotiations to be dragging on this long for the Pacquiao vs. Crawford clash isn’t a good sign.
Mikey Garcia has already informed the media that he’s in talks with Pacquiao, and they’re close to having the Pacquiao-Garcia fight “finalized.
Porter Still Backup Plan For Crawford
“The Pacquiao group is working with people in the Middle East, who are real people and that are going to finance this,” said Bob Arum to Boxing Social on the Pacquiao vs. Crawford fight. If they come up with the money and finance this fight, then we’ll do the fight in this country in the Middle East. Top Rank would be used by the country to work all the details of the promotion and all that type of thing, but the people in the country would be the actual promoters of the fight, and it would be a big opportunity for Terence Crawford to fight Manny Pacquiao. If that doesn’t come to fruition, then I will continue my talks with Shawn Porter and hope to do Terence against Shawn Porter. Either of them in my opinion is interesting fights. But obviously, Pacquiao is Pacquiao, and if Pacquiao can get into the ring with Crawford. Obviously, that’s the way Terence would want to go,” said Arum.
Porter (31-3-1, 17 KOs) is the harder fight for Crawford, and it’s not surprising that Arum isn’t champing at the bit to make that match-up.
With Porter having been beaten by Errol Spence Jr in 2019, there’s not much for Crawford to gain from fighting him.
It would still be a huge step up for the 33-year-old Crawford from the opposition he’s been fighting for 13 years. The risk is just so high for Crawford; it might be better for him to go in a different direction.

Crawford's name always comes up, no fight of value has ever happened since he moved up to 147. Taylor is a good fighter. Problem is, he instantly becomes Crawford's best fight in years if he did move up and that is sad.
Is there ever been a fighter whose talents have been wasted as much as Crawford?

Yes, let’s doubt the balls on the guy that took on Postol in his 13th fight, won 2 world titles by his 16th then moved to top rank making the undisputed fight easier to put together by his 18th fight.
Clearly all mouth that one.
