take me back to the time when canelo was billed as a vicious KO machine by the networks and his fans...oh wait....that didnt happen to canelo...only lil g

always amazes me the lengths people will go to excuse certain fighters or bash others and their fanbases...desperate attempt to deflect and rile up another fanbase with no real logic behind it
Yeah, Canelo needs a new nick name, like split decision or gifted decision.

Yes. A dominating convincing win over a lineal champ who isn't in the top 10, but clearly close to it, is a much better win than a controversial win over a fighter ranked top 5 (most people did not have GGG 2) in the sport, especially when real fans know he was very overrated.

Let's not forget. Everyone knows the only reason Canelo fought GGG is because Kelly Brook and Danny Jacobs exposed him first. But don't take my word for it, even Canelo admitted it. He admitted that he wasn't the first person to beat GGG, he though Danny Jacobs won easily.

Don't fool yourself, we all know that Canelo would NEVER have taken that fight if GGG had brutally KOd Danny Jacobs. GGG looked beatable, so Canelo took the fight.

Now Gvozdyk on the other hand was coming off of a dominating brutal KO over the Great Adonis Superman Stevenson. GGG was coming off of a loss.

See the difference is Beterbiev was fighting a guy coming off of 2 dominating KO wins, one where he brutally KOd one of the most feared knockout artists in all of boxing in recent years. Beterbiev said "I want that guy."

Canelo only wanted the guy who lost to Danny Jacobs, a B level fighter at best. Again, even Canelo admitted this, he said over and over again Danny easily beat GGG.

Golovkin was still on the list and has only been removed because of inactivity.. He's rated higher than Beterbiev. Sit down you fool. Canelo's resume ****s all over Beterbiev, Bud, Charlo and anyone else you want to hype.

****** people believed that Glolovkin was truly an elite fighter and media who tried to push him on us. He lost to Danny Jacobs. I didn't say this, Canelo himself did. Nobody who loses to Danny Jacobs is an elite fighter. People on this board are not casuals, they are not ******, you are not ******, people on this board and you do not believe that Glolovkin is an elite fighter. I know you don't believe it.

There is no need for you to lie about what I said to make your argument easier. I never said that Beterbiev's resume is better than Canelo's. Please don't make up lies about me. I said that Beterbiev's DOMINATING win over Gvozdyk is a better win than Canelo's CONTROVERSIAL wins over GGG, Lara, Trout.

So haters say GGG was losing to Brook, but they forget to say Canelo was losing to Khan.

Middleweight will always be losing to a fast welterweight before he stops him, you smart asses.

Even if Kovalev was a good win which I don't think it was but even if it was, that means he fought 1 elite fighter, 4 good fighters, and 6 bums.
You can only fight the best available and Canelo does that
