Canelo has beaten P4P fighters how many of those has Beterbiev beaten?Comment

GGG was best MW at time of fight...so Canelo fought best possible MW back to back followed by best 2 SMW back to back in Smith and BJS.
This is a massive lie that he almost only fights elite opponents. Since Lara, which is when the Canelo protection program began, he has fought 12 times. 7 of those fights were against bums that nobody wanted to see. He fought 3 good fighters, Jacobs, Cotto and Smith. Nobody in their right mind would consider any of them elite. Now GGG he fought twice, maybe the casuals think GGG was elite, but I think EVERYONE in this thread, including that Thuglife Nelo guy, would agree that GGG is highly highly overrated and nowhere close to elite. Nobody who knows boxing thinks GGG is an elite fighter.
So that means Canelo in his 12 fights fought bums over 50% of the time. The other 40% of the time he fought good fighters, but not elite fighters
Kovalev was also a good win even if Sergei was faded and Yildrim was a mandatory.
Only a PBC shill would say Canelo fights w GGG were lesser competition.Comment

"They go distance every time they face world class prime boxer.
Makes me laugh how people question GGG`s power, but they don`t question Canelo going distance with old GGG twice, Lara, Trout, old Cotto, Callum.."
take me back to the time when canelo was billed as a vicious KO machine by the networks and his fans...oh wait....that didnt happen to canelo...only lil g
always amazes me the lengths people will go to excuse certain fighters or bash others and their fanbases...desperate attempt to deflect and rile up another fanbase with no real logic behind itComment

Yes but you said he almost always fights elite fighters. So even if GGG is an elite fighter, which no real fan on this board thinks he is including Thuglife Nelo, that means Cannel has fought 1 elite fighter in 12 fights. That is a very low percentage. Even if Kovalev was a good win which I don't think it was but even if it was, that means he fought 1 elite fighter, 4 good fighters, and 6 bums.

Canelo got a controversial win over GGG who was "pound for pound" but not the lineal champ.
Artur brutally KOd the lineal champion of the Light Heavyweight Division, Olek "the Nail" Gvozdyk.
That's a better win than any win on Canelo or GGG's resume.Comment

Beating a lineal champ that wasn;t even in the top 10 P4P is better than beating a fighter rated top 2 in the entire sport? Put down your crack pipe.Comment

Lol, they both have controversial fights.Canelo has dominated and handily beat elite boxers, ggg has never handily beaten any elite boxer. ggg's wins were controversial. He looked bad against a freakin' welterweight brook before stopping him (that fight exposed ggg a lot and was the start of ggg's downward spiral), arguably lost to jacobs and derevyanchenko, and couldn't beat canelo.
Canelo has 2 controversial fights with GGG and one with Lara.
GGG has controversial fights with Cnelo, Derevyanchenko, Jacobs.
