Why did his team let him take the fight then? No way in hell was he looking sharp in camp with how he could barely keep his balance. It's okay to pass up a good pay day and call it a career if you are not fit to compete.

Typical matchroom ppv show. Only the gullible and brainwashed Eddie fluffers buy them. It was clear as day he hadn't recovered from covid, he was staggering like a drunken sailor from the first bell.

This is the right time to mention Eddie has another blockbuster ppv coming up, ten loss Chisora vs Parker.

Pov's got an excuse for every major fight he missed and every fight he's lost. He always does and no one ever gives him **** for it because they're believable, but a series of unfortunate believable events makes for a pretty unbelievable career.
Wasn't Russia sponsoring the Meldonium? Yeah, trusted sources them docs.

I have zero sympathy for Povetkin. He should have the week before the fight postponed it but he probably thought he could just land the haymaker and be done with Whyte forever. He and his entire team knew he weak and sick when he stepped between those ropes.Last edited by richardt; 04-06-2021, 02:42 PM.

Hard to argue against this assessment. Povetkin looked like he was still learning to walk on his way to the ring. From the opening bell, his body was just not right. I thought he had hit the sauce or something, so the Covid explanation seems very plausible to me.
