Vergil Ortiz is quickly becoming must see TV, the kid has the fan friendliness style in the sport. I promise you a Vergil Ortiz Vs. Danny Garcia fight would sell PPV. So would Ortiz vs. Crawford or Spence KO’s always sell and those are Vergil’s specialty. Anyways, other than Canelo there really isn’t any PPV fighters anymore.

That model is working quite well for them. And it may be instrumental in helping to revive the business back to what it used to be.

You'll have Bob Arum over there offering $1 million to people while Triller is bidding $6 million plus without blinking.

Do I think paydays are out of control? Absolutely. But ultimately, I also support a world where fans are getting a bit too childish. They won't pay $60 for PPV but they shrug when fighter A who looks good but has a trash resume wants 60% in his favor.

We need to get back to whatever it takes to get guys in the ring and tested, and washed out if they aren't as good as we think.

Triller's model helps do that, actually.
A $60 ppv use to have 3 fights that would be of the quality they currently try to sell as the main event on ppv.

Ortiz gotta go to other networks for all those fights. Those guys don't gotta go to Vergil.

Vergil is the WBO international welterweight champion that guarantees him a shot @ Crawford’s belt. Once the WBO orders the fight, it can always head to purse bid and Thriller could be the winning bidder.

I guess. The hopes of winning purse bids is a ridiculous way to run a business. It also doesn't seem like a stable one where somebody would ever bring their roster.

I mean with the issues DAZN is having idk that I'd be hyped to enter that world just yet if I was Ryan doe. And that would probably be the #1 way for them to get into a position to need the content GBP has.

I suspect this Triller/Oscar stuff is exactly that Triller/Oscar stuff. Its not GBP stuff. Again I don't think this DAZN deal is over anytime soon first off & when the day does come when its up I suspect DAZN & GBP will continue working together with a new agreement most likely or if not GBP just goes to Showtime or ESPN. Triller seems to be onto something with novelty fights & even seems to be attempting to fook with non-novelty fights, but I think we are a long way from Triller needing THAT much content to sign some sorta exclusive deal with a promoter like GBP if they ever get to that position.
