Shakur would have a massive say in this, not a fan of his but he was supposed to get his chance before December, the WBO allowed this fight in the knowledge that the winner has no choice but to fight him, am all for unifications but I doubt this one would be allowed by the WBO and Shakur, this is why you cannot be doing people favours in boxing, I was one of those who criticised Shakur for not allowing his friend (Herring) to earn one last payday v Carl frampton, but now that he has won and Valdez took that belt of Miguel it seems the energy has changed.
