Bob Arum Again Planning For Pacquiao Negotiation Failure: Crawford's "Plan B" Opponents Revealed

    Arum’s back-up options for Crawford:
    • Shawn Porter
    • Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman
    • Josesito Lopez
    • Jessie Vargas
    • Danny Garcia
    • Vergil Ortiz Jr

Arum obviously isn’t eager to let Crawford fight former IBF welterweight champion Porter because it’s a terrible match-up.

Also, it’s a fight that would cost Arum a pretty penny to make because Porter will want similar money that he got for his match against Errol Spence Jr in 2019.

Mostly, Arum will likely hesitate to make this fight for Crawford because Porter is a threat to beating him. All that hard work that Arum has put in over the years with his careful match-making of Crawford will have gone down the drain if he loses to Porter.
I agree that Porter is a huge risk.

We already confirmed it isn't Keef.

Danny Swift is highly unlikely since as I reported, he's wanting to move up and Crawford isn't.

Crawford openly ducked Vergil Ortiz Jr.

That leaves Josesito or Jessie Vargas.

Josesito is fresh off a knockout win in December while Jessie Vargas damn near beat Mikey Garcia. So both guys are fresh off wins, not losses. But neither guy is A-level.

What say ye? Which of these guys gets the shot?

If it ends up being Josesito...I think some people might commit suicide.

Vargas never nearly beat Mikey , I thought it was a very clear win for Mikey.

Yeah and I’m planning backups for my future wife if Shakira doesn’t want it. There’s Beyoncé, Scarlett Johansson, the fat chick from down the block, or the girl at the gas station with the lazy eye. STFU with these options, it’ll be Vargas or Lopez and once again no one will care. Wasted career.

No way. Vargas failed to use his size to walk Mikey down, but "clear"? He definitely won at least 5 rounds and had he not gotten dropped, I had him winning.

So Spence wants no part of Crawford. It's disgusting.

It’s gonna end up being Lopez with Arum and Crawford making all types of blame on Manny

not a great matchup but not terrible
