I think he might be in a similar situation to what Canelo was last year because of his massive guarantee. Wouldn’t surprise me if his contract is adjusted or scratched like Canelo’s was.

DAZN should be pissed lol. They did it to themselves but what did they pay for his last 3 fight, like 45 million? 2/3 of those bums would probably lose to a prospect like Ammo Williams and nobody even knew who Derevyanchenko was.

DAZN were so dumb giving guys these huge guarantees. It gives the fighters zero incentive to want to take tough fights.

They have to have some type of quality control. Casuals would probably tune in to Golovkin vs Munguia. That'd be fun at least.

Yeah GGG-Munguia was actually a decent fight, especially considering GGG isn’t the force he once was. I think GGG-Murata is the best realistic option now.

Murata is with Top Rank though...

Fair point. I do think it’s possible though. TR have willingly worked with DAZN in the past though. I could see them allowing Murata to face GGG if the money is right- the same way Bob allowed Ramirez to face Hooker on DAZN.
