Trainer Teddy Atlas is back in the training game after hooking up with undefeated Alexander Povetkin, the 2004 Olympic gold medal winner and IBF mandatory challenger to Wladimir Klitschko. Atlas trained heavyweight champions Mike Tyson and Michael Moorer. One day he received a call from Sauerland Event to see if he was interested in training Povetkin, so Atlas flew out to Russia to meet with him. [details]

Interesting how people say Axel Shultz was "old" at age 30 when Wladimir Klitschko became the first to stop him, while Povetkin is a considered a young up-and-comer at age 30.

well he aint makeing much progress with atlas in his corner the guy is over rated as they come he worked tysons corner and has given him his name rooney was better than him they were cus puppets he just chat horse ***** on fight night every time atlas will bring on his first defeat with in two fights

i like povetkin, but either klitschko demolishes him, maybe arreola and haye too.
teddy wont make a difference, but i wonder if teddy will finally let up on the klitschkos when they ko his fighter.
