The boxing industry now has a new major player in town. Internationally renowned talent management company Wasserman looks to make a splash in the sport, announcing its acquisition of Team Sauerland--headed by Kalle and Nisse Sauerland--on Tuesday. They will be working primarily in the UK market. So if Matchroom switch to Dazn, then they want the Sky sports contract.
The big ramification is for MTK Global who would otherwise, or still could, take that position. The other one is where that leaves BT sports and Queensbury/Frank warren.

Not a chance that Matchroom (boxing) leave Sky

The relationship extends further than boxing. Just the boxing side alone is a mutually beneficial relationship. Plenty to mock Hearn for but he’s not reckless
