Oh how the top division in boxing has fallen mightily. The HW division is the absolute weakest its been probably ever. Outside the top three (and even in the top three) are absolute no names. The top 15 during the 90s (even the most casual of fans) were known and were actually good. I’d venture to say they’d wipe today’s division up and down as well. A sanctioning body has an eliminator amongst two that even ardent fans must stop and say huh?

Boxing during this last decade amongst the HWs has been a sad affair. A dying sport.

The 90's HWs were a bunch of midget stiffs. Fury destroys all of them, including Iron Mike, and Joshua probably KO's most of them as well.

Hunter is kinda pillow fisted like Usyk.

He looks good but he ain't knocking over a true heavy!

Well both are essentially blown up Cruiserweights looking to use speed and technique to win. I don't think they are pillow fisted so much as they are undersized. Let's not forget that Hunter stopped Ustinov and dropped Kuzmin and had him in trouble towards the end of that fight.

Hrgovic isn’t at all like Wlad he is like Vitali with more athletic abilities. Hrgovic does a few things better then Wlad ,he’s more formidable in a few ways . Hunter is not going to remotely win this fight outside a cut taking place . It’s true he’s doesn’t throw stiff hard jabs every time but his abilities to walk you into shots and hit off angles while turning guys around and hit off angles also work the body over . These are things Wlad wasn’t doing he fought more in straight lines and clinch if guys came in on him . Hrgovic simply punishes you and is a hard enough puncher few are going to want to be in there round after round taking those bludgeon shots .

Hunter is not reaching A.J if he fights this guy .

Hrgovic is doing all these things against the likes of Mario Heredia, Eric Molina and Rydell Booker. I look forward to seeing if he still looks like an "athletic Vitali" against guys trying to actually win.

You and I disagree in what we see from Hrgovic. I see a very big, strong guy who looks stiff and robotic. He has skills but they don't seem fluid to me and his defense is suspect. His size and power may make all of that moot in a fight with Hunter but I want to see how he comports himself against a live opponent.

BS Bowe could ko any of them and Holyfield would outbox them too. Not to mention Lennox lewis who would probably destroy all of them too.

Bowe was not a great fighter. Yes he came victorious from Holy trilogy, but his career was pretty much over after that.

Lennox is the best guy from 90s, no doubt.

He’s defeated just about everyone so far off officially records ,Parker Joyce ( close fight ) and Yoka ( robbed ) in the ams and in wsob . Showed exactly what he could do or capabilities of sparring wilder ,I’ve seen the entire sparring footage and he toyed with him at 19 . Hrgovic has beaten every style out there barring Fury I also believe he’s the only guy to defeat 4 Cuban fighters .

Everyone in the know , knows he’s going to be the champion at some point ,it’s why Wlad himself said he’s the next champion 3 years ago . Anyone fighting him now,is in over their heads , Hunter has no idea what he’s walking into saying things like he has no jab and doesn’t hit hard .

Hey mental midget I don’t view things through nationalistic lenses. I served with many across the globe and trained with many global military units. I could care less who rules a division I stand by what I said the HW division is the worst its been ever.
