White is talk crap about De La Hoya fighting being near 50 but it was perfectly ok for him to set up the fight with a near 50 Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar. This dude is something else. He's mad his hand isnt in the cookie jar.

A better example than Mayweather v Mcgregor would have been that CM Punk guy who was a WWE wrestler that Dana signed and had two fights in the UFC and was hopeless, and even then its a bit different as he wasn't that old.

Sure Mayweather v Mcgregor wasn't the best fighting the best, it was a slightly older ATG, fighting a champ from a different sport in his prime which did massive numbers.

This is 20 years retired Oscar fighting a retired UFC fighter, when we want Spence v Crawford etc and aint getting it.

The sad thing to me is if boxing was actually functional, if we were continually getting good match ups (like the UFC does), building the stars and public interest, then I personally wouldn't have an issue with these YouTubers boxing, I think it could be actually good in getting kids interested, but it seems the real sport is being choked by self interest and Youtubers and retirees are filling the void.

Uhhh...Randy was literally the ****ing UFC heavyweight champion at the time, not a dude that had been retired for 12 years coming out of retirement for a novelty fight.

I don't see the tide turning back til someone gets fooked up. When some older guy or big time/popular celeb gets hurt or just KO'd like Nate Robinson then it'll slow down if not stop. Or the "real boxers" start taking the attention back by fighting each other on a regular basis. I think the former is more likely then the latter.
