If a Linares fight was good enough for Ryan Garcia (though it got cancelled), then I can't argue with Devin fighting him. Linares is on his last leg and this is it for him and it's step-up time for Devin....he stunk up the Gamboa fight and he knows it.

            See the double standards?

Everyone talks about Ryan Garcia like he's the next Mayweather since he beat a guy who gave Lomachenko a tough time. Now Haney does the same thing and these DICAFS will say Haney's just beating up on Loma's leftovers.

I'm so sick of the double standards man, this is why the sport of boxing has no credibility left.
Credit from who? I think most of the fans see it as a step-up fight for him and will give appropriate credit if he wins and does it in proper fashion. If Haney can stop Linares (all 5 of his defeats came that way) and Linares doesn't look completely shot, he will get credit.

Garcia deserved credit for the Campbell fight since he persevered through adversity against an opponent trying to win and convincingly ended it via stoppage.

That's the funniest part about the Haney hate, the "When is he going to fight somebody" stuff. The guy is 22 years old.

Fact is Maricio spoke with all parties involved when the WBC ordered Garcia-Fortuna.

Amazing that boxing fans can be such apologists. look at what pretty much every boxing star did at 22 years old. they were fighting regularly and staying on people's minds. haney instead out here getting UDs over no-names tatted.
