Biggest prizefighter in all of boxing?? GTFOH Jake Paul! He's beaten nobody. He is a youtube clown who's obvious been told how great he is by little kids so many times that he now has absolutely no concept of reality. What an embarassment to boxing that scumbags like this are "main attractions". The world is totally screwed.

To be fair, he’s probably already getting paid more to fight than most world champions

that’s the world we live in

ok so I'm exaggerating a bit. My point being any pro boxer is better than another youtuber or basketball player not to mention a washed up MMA fighter. If hes gonna talk the talk he needs to walk the walk.

It almost seems like a fair fight at this point for both guys.

You guys need to look at the bigger picture here.

I love what Jake is doing. He's a mega star on a world level and the fact that he chose boxing as a platform - we should be backing this kid to do great things!

Yes he's got no amateur fights, yes he's got a big mouth, yes he doesn't have the talent yet. But what he has s a huge base of fans that do NOT watch boxing at all. They're fcuking nerds that play video games. Get their a$$'s in these seats and let's get some exciting cards going. It's good for boxing because the other fights on the card get better pay than they normally would and the shows are revolutionizing the sport. Big names want IN on these cards and getting this fan base into boxing is going to pay dividends for years to come.

            Support this kid I say!

Hey I'm all for bringing more people to the table. What I'm saying is let's see him fight something other than circus sideshow fights.

Zero amateur experience, 24 year's old with 2 fights. You can't expect him to fight against anybody with a pulse yet. Give him 3+ years and maybe start talking opponents. For an amateur, it takes 3 solid non-stop years to get some skill. Paul should be no different.

My post was written in the same tone as everyone else's but I am genuinely curious how he will react to some adversity. Not sure he's ever really faced any in his life to be honest, though I don't know anything about the Paul's back story before internets fame.

Paul Brothers seem like your typical spoiled silver spoon fed men from Beverly Hills. Their attitude as such is to be expected. Plus these guys walk around like 210lbs and do more weight lifting than anything. They’re Cruisers or Bridgerweighters. I think both bros should be elevated to Franchise Champion and fight Valuev back to back on the same night. The loser has suck on the back hair of the fighter for 1 hour. Valuev is a beast!

I'm not sticking up for the kid here, yet at least (although I would love for him to take the sport seriously and help revive it)

But lets look at some of the records of the guys that some of the top guys faced in their third fights

                      Canelo - Debut
                      Fury - 15-20-0
                      Crawford - 8-21-1
                      Golovkin 5-1-2
                      Spence - 0-1-0
                      Taylor - 1-4-1
                      Davis - Debut
                      Bivol - 17-10-2
                      M.Garcia - 0-6-1
                      Estrada - 1-15-1
                      J. Ramirez - 1-1-2
                      Benavidez - 1-1-0
                      Chocolatitio - Debut

Two of those guys fought fighters with winning records, and all of them minus Estrada and Canelo had amateur careers.
