G is in the middle of the DAZN contract. PBC can make all the 'offers' they want, it's all nonsense. On top of this, PBC thrives on paying decent/good money ($1-3M) to many fighters in hopes of building a superstar. They've had 0 successes at attracting anything resembling a superstar. Even Wilder, who was a relatively big name once upon a time, wasn't making that much despite being a top HW with a belt.

As for original question - he's not completely washed up, but he's 39 in a week and has been in several wars. There's a 50% chance he retires within next 12 months, and about 95% chance within next 36 months.

      Go re-read what I said.

AFTER the Canelo rematch when GGG was a network free agent. This is before he signed a six fight deal with DAZN.

He showed decline before that and it became pretty clear in the 2nd canelo fight and more so in the derev fight. Why would ggg sign with pbc if he thought he was gonna get a 3rd fight with canelo?

When did I say GGG should have signed with PBC? I told you the offer he had for PBC and he would have been fighting Charlo in the second fight of the deal. That's not someone that was waiting for GGG to look severely declined. Again, you thought GGG won the second Canelo fight and that's when the offer was made.

Golovkin is significantly slower right now, both physically and mentally. He's still a dangerous fighter, but he's not the monster he used to be. I would like for him to move up to 168lbs, I think he would fair better fighting bigger and slower opposition than fighting naturally quicker middleweights.

Why would he go that route instead of the 3rd canelo fight? There was every indication the 3rd fight was happening until canelo decided against it. Now that it’s clear ggg is washed, here comes charlo out of the woodwork.

How are you still not understanding what I'm saying? You alluded to Charlo waiting until GGG was WASHED UP for him to wanting this fight....When I told you that PBC offered GGG a two fight deal with the second fight being Charlo AFTER the Canelo rematch....That you thought GGG won. So no, he didn't wait until GGG was "washed up" until wanting the fight.

Why do you keep bringing up Canelo here? Why are you assuming I am saying GGG made the wrong decision signing with DAZN? Just slow down next and read what I'm saying.

back in the day when i used to bag on golovkin and say his resume stinks...some of his reasonable fans would say something like "well give him more time...he still doesnt have a ton of wear and tear for his age"

alot of these guys would compare him to hopkins and id say "hopkins didnt become great because of his MW reign...he did so by what he did after...moving up and such"...and theyd say "give him time...he just might"....

today his POS fans will say that canelo is scared of a 3rd fight while its not happening...if they signed to fight tomorrow immediately theyd say that he waited him out and golovkin is even older now

i dont know...golovkin is either slowing down or never really was as special as some tried to make him out to be....i think its a little of both

i think canelo gave him respect in the first fight...because he believed in the golovkin "legend" or "myth"....the second fight showed he feared little of golovkin...the 3rd fight hed fear even less and probably whoop him ....golovkin wont go near a charlo or andrade at this point and id bet just about anything on it.....

sure hes still competitive with and/or beats most MWs...but its apparent there some slippage

I know it. Can you believe ShoulderRoll actually believes Canelo is trying to fight the best available competition?

Oh behave yourself. He did better against Nell than kovalev, callum. In fact he beat Nell by most accounts
