It's a real shame. Other than Heavyweight undisputed this is the fight I wanted the most. I class both fighters better than the 2 Heavies and it'd a great clash of styles.

But neither are showing much, Crawford has fronted Spence and says he wants it and is only dismissing it cuz Spence is being so negative and showing clear signs of a duck but when splits are discussed he says he will demand a split that he knows damn well won't be played by the other side and struggles to justify anyway.

Spence just straight up ducking. He has always pushed Crawford to the back at every question. He clearly does not want that fight.

I think we're making a villain out of Crawford unjustly. We gotta remember he has a boss. The lack of past/future opponents is more on Arum not being able to secure them. If Crawford could somehow break free of his contract, which there's rumors that could happen soon, I know he will go on a Canelo-like streak where he will only Make the big/meaningful fights, including the Spence fight.

At this point, it's fair to say NEITHER Crawford NOR Spence want the fight. It's that simple. When fighters want to fight each other, no matter the manager promoter or network, fights happen.

Crawford is living in fantasy land. If he doesn't want to fight his mandatory in Shawn Porter and Pacquiao is leaning towards Mikey Garcia and he won't fight Spence or Thurman who called him out. Then says Virgil Ortiz isn't ready and needs to improve, well who's left at the elite level at WW? This man is looking real sketchy these days he might as well retire!

Who cares if doesn’t WANT to fight his mandatory ? All Porter has to do is force the fight to purse bid. Matters a damn what Crawford does or doesn’t want, fight Porter or lose your belt.

Problem is Porter wants more money than he’s entitled to, and that is not Crawford’s fault or problem.

If Crawford really wanted that work he knew where to find Spence. If the fight doesn't happen then Bud only has himself to blame because he resigned with Top Rank while knowing full well in advance how sparse they were at welterweight; Instead of signing with the PBC who holds all the titles at both the welter and super welterweight divisions.

Got the game (F’ed up)! Crawford is the real deal and it’s unfortunate that networks and managers can’t fix some of the major problems in boxing by bringing guys who should be fighting one another together. At the time he resigned with Bob things were good and he couldn’t have predicted this. Crawford has a shot at any top welterweight rather he fights them or not; his skills should never be questionable. Boots Ennis out there, a few Others at welterweight besides the champions who have doubts like Manny and really should retire. Keith use to be One Time Thurman need a real fight, and Shawn Porter is always a difficult evening. Crawford has the goods though!

This is nonsense. Who’s to say that Crawford would have a chance of fighting Spence if he was with PBC? How long did Errol Spence have to wait on the sidelines before Porter finally stepped up to the plate? Why wasn’t GRJ ever able to get the Santa Cruz fight? There are plenty of cases of in-house fights not happening - stop being simple.

Should Crawford have taken less money without any guarantees on future opponents, which PBC wouldn’t have been able to provide? Do you even know whether PBC offered Crawford a deal? It’s easy for you to say what Crawford should or shouldn’t have done when it’s not your livelihood on the line.

I agree and my view is that a fighter should only care about their own purse. The split shouldn’t really matter as long as both guys get the money they feel they deserve.
