Pacquiao fighting a heavier fighter doesn't mean they were the best at that weight class. But he proved that he could trade bombs with heavier fighters while JMM struggled before winning in lightweight. He had difficulty with his opponents size at lightweight.

You call Cotto crappier? He might not be #1 WW in your opinion but he definitely is top 3. Manny will earn more money with Cotto against PWill,SSM, and JMM. Manny and Cotto both belongs to Top Rank. Manny will fight SSM. Wait and see...

What's the reason Floyd chose JMM instead of SSM and PWill? Don't tell me he will earn more against JMM.

I hope the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight happens next year
because Floyd would kick Manny's ass. Too much skill and
patience for lil Pac. I think Roach should be focusing more
on Cotto because it's not guaranteed that he will win that
even though so many people feel Pac is such an unstoppable
force. I hope the PPV buys do well just off of principle alone.

Floyd had the perfect opportunity when JMM called him
out to fight. Beat the man that many thought beat Pac
more convincingly and then get at Pac. PLUS JMM has
Mexico behind him & is one of the best fighters in the
sport of boxing so why shouldn't Floyd fight him? Pac
moved up for Oscar so why can't JMM move up to
face Floyd? JMM KO'd two bigger men at Light weight
to become the recognize champ. In my opinion, I think
since facing each other, JMM has taken more risks than
        Manny moving up.

JMM and Pac fought at 130. If Floyd wants to fight the JMM that Pac fought, then he should fight JMM at least at 135. JMM KO'ed Casamayor and Diaz at 135 but he definitely struggled with their size. JMM is not at his best at 135, more so at WW. Floyd knows that. His uncle and father said that JMM is too small.

JMM never had Mexico behind him. Never near Barrera and Morales. JMM had all the reason to fight Floyd. The only reason Floyd chose JMM bcoz he presumes JMM don't pose a threat.

I think that the victories over De La Hoya and Diaz are very overrated for Pacquiao, but after the way that Paulie performed against Diaz made my opinion of Pacquiao's victory over Hatton come up just a tad. It is still a victory that doesn't mean much because of how suspect Hatton had looked until then and how horrible Hatton looks right now outside of the ring. But after Juan Diaz's fight with Paulie that made me think that if Hatton was in decent fighting condition he could probably beat Juan Diaz.

Where I'm getting at is that Pacquiao's victory over Hatton looks better than JMM's victory over Juan Diaz now. I think Joel Casamayor would beat Hatton though, because he is a slick southpaw similar to Collazo with more skill and power. He's kind of shot as well however, so that fight is close to a toss up. But if Hatton and Casamayor fought now, I would favor Casamayor. I also think Casamayor would've beaten Juan Diaz too believe it or not. He could also still probably beat Juan Diaz right now.

People always say Hatton was overrated. He may be overrated, but he was the best at JW when he fought Pacquiao. Let's say even top 3. But he was the lineal champ.

People just trying to discredit Pacquiao's win. However Hatton's style is perfect for Pacquiao, it still takes skills to land those big shots. Whatever haters say, Pacquiao's knock out punch is among the best ever. Perfect timing, speed, and accuracy.

I bet Floyd or Cotto can't KO Hatton in 2 rounds if Hatton fought them instead of Pacquiao

I think other than Manny Pacquiao, Devon Alexander is the best at 140 myself. I would give Hatton a slight chance against Bradley because Bradley doesn't punch that hard. But even then, I think Bradley would beat Hatton.
