Canelo fought 4 very good black fighters who were seen as the best in the division at the time. Mayweather was Ring champ at 154. Lara was the next best fighter 154. Trout was the supposed boogeyman of Canelo, who he was apparently ducking according to his critics. And Jacobs was another top 3 fighter who his critics were saying he would never fight.

Now Crawford, carrying as sh.t a resume as you can have while being hailed as a top 3 P4P fighter, and I mean really sh.t, is talking all this nonsense. Lol. Canelo’s resume is like a bulldozer running over a piece of dog sh.t, where the dog sh.t is Crawford’s resume. Like if he was 25 or so, understandable. Dude is 33 and his best win is still Postol 5 years ago.

Canelo keeps adding name after name to the list of fighters he has fought. Been doing it since 2013. Canelo’s resume is so saturated with top names at this point that his “low tier” names start with former champions or dangerous fighters like Cintron, Angulo and Kirkland. He has fought all sorts of styles. Crawford needs to just fight a live body, forget about race. Just fight a live dog no matter their skin color. Fight someone with a pulse.

This scrub avoids Healthy Mexican fighters. Boxed a one-legged Jose Benavidez. Bum CrawFish catering to LDBC narratives & pushing to sell above mediocre 75k PPV / worse numbers than Golovkin

Crawford lucky Alvarez doesn’t speak English

Alvarez would easily roast Crawford’s record

Canelo is speaking more and more English now.

Expect a clapback very soon from him, especially since he has a fight coming up and will be asked about this a few times.

Scan through Canelo's record and you see all kinds of boxers from all over the world. PR, UK, Russia, Mexico, US, Cuba, Argentina, Turkey, Colombia, even has a Pakistani for good measure. I don't know what But is talking about who has no stellar record to speak of. Now But is targeting a JrWW moving up or the green but talented Virgil.

I give Canelo credit for the tough fights he took EARLY in his career. Trout, Lara. But after that, you can't deny that he's carefully handpicked his opponents based on the risk-reward model. You think his handlers didn't realize that the Lara and Trout fight easily could have gone the other way and if it had, how his earnings potential would have gone way down? They didnt want to take that risk again. This is why there's been no charlo or Andrade fight. Since Lara, Canelo has fought 12 times, but of those 12 fights there was only 1 opponent that we really wanted to see. That's GGG. He fought 3 good fights, that's Cotto, Jacobs, Callum Smith. But the rest were all guys that NOBODY wanted to see, Kirkland, Khan, Liam Smith, JCC Jr., Fielding, Yildirim, Kovalev. To me, when you're the face of boxing, the majority of your fights can't be against opponents that nobody wants to see especially when you have people like Andrade and the Charlos who have earned it. That tells me that you're avoiding the high risk low reward fighters and instead feast on a diet of low risk low reward.

If any of those black boxers were taking tough fights, I could give his POV a little more credence. Everyone wants to sit around for the Canelo payday. Charlo and Andrade have been in the same weight class for 10 years and haven't fought each other yet, for ****'s sake lol. 2 Charlos, Andrade and Lara have 0 fights between them despite all those years together.

I like Crawford but even himself, he doesn't seem to be clamoring to face the other top guys in his own division, who are all black. Spence, Ugas, Thurman, Porter. So yeah

And still spoke English on that podcast and did an interview or two before the Yilidrim fight in English.

                      But that's the problem.

He actually speaks good English. Him refusing to do it does him no favors.

This isn't Humberto Soto we're talking about. Canelo is the face of boxing. He needs to speak stop pretending he doesn't know English.

It's like Stevie Wonder pretending to be blind. Why?
