Terence Crawford vs Vergil Ortiz possible in 2021

It’s highly likely thst Shawn Porter will not enforce a mandatory aginst Terence Crawford because he doesn’t want a 75/25 mandatory split. So it’s gonna be a Ortiz vs Clayton (because Mikey sure as hell wouldn’t fight Ortiz) for the mandatory spot. While Crawford will fight a voluntary sometime soon and him and the winner of Ortiz and Clayton will fight near the end of 2021. I got Ortiz Jr. via KO.

Crawford would duck that fight. Ortiz isn't faded or a bum.

Ortiz has 52 rounds as a pro & is 22.
Sure he can give Bud problems but Bud will take his inexperienced ass into deep waters and drown him.

He needs time to mature and get experience. He's never even seen round 8.

No idea what the rush is.

Tonight Ortiz's durability was tested. Hooker actually did well and a weaker opponent would have crumble over the shots hooker was throwng. Hooker did more damage to Ortiz than Crawford gave kavaliauskas.

I think Crawford vs Ortiz would come down to who has more durability. That said, Ortiz might have the better durability and slightly more power. If they go toe to toe it might be 50-50 but someone is getting KO-ed under 7.

If you look at the Crawford vs kavaliauskas, there are a couple of things you can take away. kavaliauskas is not as powerful, nor has Ortiz's durability. If Crawford got knocked down by kavaliauskas then surely Ortiz's power will be felt. Ortiz is also gonna get his respect early. He is not gonna wait a few rounds like kavaliauskas. That said Crawford will have his hands full which he isn't used to with all the c-level fighters he's used to fighting.

As I said, let kid fight a few other gatekeepers before moving to world title shot.

Crawford has bigger fish to fry like his TBA fight vs a 15/1 underdog
