These kind of fights don't excite me at all because neither one of these guys have any technical craft. I can go out to the city and watch street fights or bar fights that are mirror images of what these two clowns put on tonight.
Calling two tough pros like Bailey and Urango "clowns" indicates you are more of an ******* than a boxing fan.
I was really impressed with Urango's chin, Bailey knocks him down and breaks his face open and he still gets up and fight aggressively. Bailey had landed that right hand against other foes and they never got up.
Anytime I **** up and miss out on a fight it never fails to have been damn good. I didn't have a pick in this one, tho I was hopin Bailey could pull it off. Mighta been his last shot. Glad Urango put on a strong performance after he looked like such **** wit Berto at 147. Looks like FNF really came thru last nite. Good **** here.
Bailey was doing good, in the round that he scored the knockdown he hit Urango with many solid rights before that big one and sent him backwards with quite a few which is not easy. Bailey was moving left and then right and then left which was throwing Urango off his track, it was working. It seems like after the KD Bailey was only moving right which allowed Urango to key in on him and plod in easier. Bailey def should have jabbed more and thrown more left hooks which he did at times and they were effective in mixing up the attack.
Urango kept his chin tucked the entire time so Bailey had to either throw the right hook alot of the time or mostly throw it like an uppercut. Bailey could not get to the body because Urango was so hunched over and head first plus Urango obviously is shorter. It's like Urango was walking around in a little shell. Bailey really fought down to the size of Urango because of this too, he was hunched down himself most of the time which allowed him to be reached easier too, if he had just straightened up once in a while he could have allowed himself to get his breathe more often and just box and jab for a few seconds before planning his next offense. I know Bailey is not a boxer but just a few jabs here and there with some left hooks and a little more movement would have done him alot of good.
Durr, even his name is similar to that of a certain ape.
Urango rules. I'd still pick anyone at 140 to beat him, but he's cool for what he is - a slow, plodding, wild swinging ****er with a good chin. Fight Prescott!!!
Urango fought the way a true Latino should : going forward like a macho man, no matter the outcome. I´m tired of watching blacks and PRs, and even some East Europeans!! just jabbing like girls, and immediately hugging or running or pushing. Even worse, the first punch they receive, they hug. In my opinio, a fighter should only hug in extreme circumstances. New rules are needed in boxing. I suggest the " Three hugs per round, for whatever reason " rule.
