It's a big jump from Hooker to Crawford. All the things Hooker does, that are considered slick, Bud does better.

Lipinets is no different than Mo' Hooker, yet he has been fighting @ 147 for much longer than Hooker. Lipinets is a great step-up fight!

Not as bad as Khan and AJ, the Joshes, and Smith brothers. That's a rubber leg factory.

Maybe Ortiz could beat all the other welterweights, except Crawford, and Spence is a tough task. Crawford won't get big fights at welterweight, he should move up, and he could fight Charlo in a showcase fight.

I was thinking the same thing out of the names at WW (Bud,Spence,Ugas,Thruman,Porter,DSG) the least dangerous but still a huge step up is Thurman ..

if you’re asking if I still think Crawford puts a beating on Ortiz, then 1000% yep.

So basically, you watched this guy dismantle a guy who is trained by the same guy that trains Crawford....

You watched Crawford get two-pieced, wobbled and dropped by Kavaliauskas...

And yet you firmly believe that Vergil Ortiz doesn't do a number on Crawford?

                    Geez, talk about denial.

Are you one of those peeps that refuses to believe someone's drowning until they die?

hold up, so just because he has the same trainer as Crawford, that means something in your eyes? I must be talking with a 13 year old who just now started watching boxing. So I guess guys that beat fighters trained by Freddie roach could’ve automatically beat pac too? Anyone who beat a fighter trained under the mayweathers could’ve beaten Floyd? That’s the logic of a retarrd. Even dumber is you thinking that because Ortiz was able to stop a C level guy like hooker, it means he can beat arguably the best fighter in the world ( no worse than top 3). You know what, I hope the fight gets made because simple fans like you who like to jump out the window and get all hyped like little girl groupies require a reality check sometimes. But my guess is, despite Oscar talking his usual coked up nonsense, he knows better and wouldn’t dare risk Ortiz taking a career altering beating the way Vargas did.
