DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley debuts in BKFC tonight

The 47 year old former WBO world champ will be fighting in the co-main event tonight at BKFC 16. He will be facing Reggie Barnett Jr. Barnett's fight record:
    5-1-0-0 in pro bare knuckle
    6-2-0-0 in pro boxing
    3-4-0-0 in pro MMA

Corley is pretty old but he should be able to deal with a guy like this. Hopefully he doesn't embarrass the sport like Paulie Malinaggi did.

    Smart money is on Barnett.

Barnett hit the deck three times against Bedford. I think Chop Chop stops him early.

Bedford, like Barnett, is used to bare knuckle.

        Corley, like Paulie, is not.

It takes multiple fights before you get used to that environment. Anyone who has done it at a competitive level for more than just 2 fights will walk in with the advantage.

Every halfway decent boxer who has fought in modern bare knuckle is undefeated except Paulie.

Ishe Smith, Dat Nguyen, Nico Hernandez, Uly Diaz, and Tyler Goodjohn don't have a single loss between them. Paulie lost because he stopped throwing after breaking both of his hands in the third round.

The ones you mentioned were matched against the D-tier.

Paulie fought the B-tier, which I would consider Barnett.

Nguyen beat Bedford easily and Bedford beat Barnett easily.

Barnett has zero quality wins in any sport.

Barnett's best win was a 5 round decision against Abdiel Velazquez. Nguyen wasted him in half a round, then wrecked Bedford.

Again, Barnett has 14 wins across three combat sports and they were all against bums. Corley gonna waste him.
