PAC will be fighting at a catch-weight to face Cotto, who is coming down in weight, yet, gets all kinds of harsh criticism for making his opponent come down in weight.



It's the same scenario, why all the hate towards PAC?

If you ask me, Cotto is a far more brutalizing puncher than Ugly Boy.

All I hear from the mexic*nts is, "oh this is a dangerous fight for juan, he's coming up in weight"

You have a fair point there. I think the word "making" may be the real difference maker there. Cotto wasn't thrilled with coming down and stated so publicly, especially coming down with his title on the line. I'm pretty sure (but can't remember completely) that Floyd had no real issues with coming down, so he didn't make a stink of it. Once the stink is made, the posters latch on to it and beat it to death.

JMM should be fighting PAC at 140 and Cotto should be fighting PBF at 147. Or JMM vs PBF at either 140 or 147 and the same goes for Pac vs Cotto.

No, Cotto ain't b*tchin' about the catch-weight. Cotto's gripe is, PAC and team also demanded that the title be on the line. So Cotto is basically saying, "Hey, I'm already okay with givin' up the weight, and you guys want more"

Yeah but trutfully, people were ripping the catchweight way before the title stuff even came into the picture. The truth though is that JMM is fighting a guy 2 divisions up while Pac is only fighting a guy 1 division up so thats why people arent that upset

Um... because people are ripping Floyd about it. Marquez is moving UP to 144 because Mayweather challenged him. Essentially he's asking the smaller fighter to move up where Paq is asking the bigger fighter to move down, they are both bitches for doing it as well.
