You need to watch Charlo recent interview with Brian Custer. He specifically spoke about stopping Benavidez. He wants that fight now, and I hope PBC do this fight.

You actually believed him? Jermalls m.o. is to admit he ducked in an interview,then when he gets a bunch of backlash he suddenly starts fronting that he actually wants the fight(knowing full well he won't even entertain it) I have been waiting yrs for him to actually back up anything he says,his brothers resume shts all over his at this point.

Benavidez is really good and most likely the best guy at 168, definitely the biggest threat to Canelo because he throws a lot, has good hand speed and some pop and seems able to take a good shot. I actually think his punch output could lead to him getting a decision against Canelo, hard as that seems to be. The questions I have about him is can he endure shots from a big puncher, as his defense is shaky at best, not much head movement or foot speed. He is only going to get better and it may not be a popular point of view, but if Canelo is not going to duck him he would be smart to make the fight sooner rather than later before Benavidez wipes out the rest of the guys.

Any PBC fighter Charlo can fight so he can avoid Benavidez? I'm guessing he will not fight this year. Wait for Canelo. Whatever it takes.

not at all little wee wee ho. Charlo said that he would go to 168 for the clenela fight. if Benavidez wants the smoke then he needs to get the WBC 168. he has nothing and begging.

How is Charlo going to get the Canelo fight if you're saying having a title is the only way fights can happen? That's what you're saying benavidez needs to do to get a fight with Charlo. Well, the same applies to Charlo in getting the Canelo fight.

I'm starting to really like and definitely respect Benavides and I think Benavides might be my next favorite fighter next to Canelo because he sounds like Canelo when he was always busy always fighting tough fighters and getting recognized and I believe Benavides is taking the right path big-time. For Benavides to want to fight the big dogs who nobody wants to fight says alot. He doesn't even have to fight Canelo after that because Benavides will be by then an Elite Fighter on his own without needing to fight Canelo. Hope everyone who is a boxing fan recognizes Benavides and what he's doing.

Are you serious? Benavides is a clout chaser. He has no elite wins on his resume. Has lost his belt twice due to being undisciplined. And to top it all off, is repeatedly calling out a champion in the division below him, but is not looking to go down and fight for the strap. Imo Benavides has been taking the path of a sucka, and will continue to do so. I don’t know how he has fooled all you new fans, but I guess the hatred of Charlo is enough for you guys to put blinders up. I’m not impressed by talk, but rather actions.
