Translation: he has the money to pay me more than I'm worth despite not being as popular as i thought i am and gives him hope with dazn.

Culero is around the right time and a desperate promoter willing to overpay

Can’t you read? Canelo has asked Hearn to take the lead in negotiations to fight Plant in September, and negotiations have begun. In fact, Plant’s manager Luis DeCubas confirmed he and Hearn are in talks. The plan is for both sides to present an offer (DAZN and FOX) and they’ve agreed whichever offer they deem more attractive, they’ll proceed with. If it’s DAZN, Hearn will be the lead promoter with PBC acting as a co-promoter. If it’s FOX, then PBC will lead the promotion with Hearn co-promoter.

I would say last 2 Shows with Eddie been great for him I like the Ring Entrance Production so yeah I think this make sense to continue that relationship. Will just have to overpay Plant Drastically to go over to DAZN though because he has that final Belt and he has Options to just stay on his side and fight Benavidez

For sure a good move financially for Canelo and Edward but look for more Turkish type fighters to come out of this partnership ....that's young Edwards game.

Eddie Hearn is the best promoter in the world hands down. If u were a fighter y would u sign with anyone else. Top rank was definatly great at building fighters but Hearn tries to make the best fights possible, and actually cares for his fighters not like Arum. This is the best move for Canelo. Dazn has been delivering

That's a perfect example of what I said. If Canelo gets with Eddy and the UKAD syndicate, he might be champ until 2030, unless the big shock strikes. He might get KOd by accident.

Canelo has his promoters licence now, he has his own manager and he is at a point where he demands more input into everything. I think as a boxer grows in popularity and in a business sense you as a promoter need to recognise that, and that is where GBP failed. They don't seem to recognised when their boxers are at a different stage of their careers, they still want to treat them like they shouldn't know about certain stuffs.

Gone are the days where you don't tell a boxer what deals are coming in, which one you turned down and accept etc (Well they still practice that at PBC i see), boxers (The sensible ones) now need to know what is going on with their careers. For GBP to sign a DAZN deal and not show Canelo the contract is one of the things that got him pissed off.

You saw that with Shakur Stevenson, when Andre ward who co-manages him turned down offers for him to fight Warrington without even notifying him. Only to be exposed on social media when Ward and Hearn got into an exchange. Boxers need to have more input in their careers. The decision making is a key aspect of it all, because it involves the actual boxer.
