All I'm saying is Canelo is trying to unify the division, something no Latino fighter has ever done, he gets eviscerated by haters, "oh he's not fighting my guy, he's not fighting that guy, he's not moving up, he's not moving down" Same nonsense.

In fact, this thread doesn't even have anything to do with him, and yet he was brought up first before Bivol!

Beterbiev is lined up to fight a can after a 2 year layoff and still has no intention of fighting Bivol, it's "well this is an mandatory, well we have to wait, they're on different networks, it takes time"

Stop lying, where did I ever once say this was a good fight. All I said was there's no evidence that Beterbiev is ducking anyone.

That's cuz canelo call all the shots. You said it, not me. The face of boxing. When you call all the shots and are the face of boxing, you get to pick whoever you wanna fight. So when the fight we want to happen doesn't happen. It is nobody's fault but your own.

Bivol and Beterbiev and Charlo dont have that kinda power. You can't be a ducker if you don't have power.

So now Canelo is in charge of Bivol and Beterbeiv's career? He gets to decide when they fight each other?

Yeah we all know Charlo is a PBC puppet. He can't make his own moves. That's why I kept saying from the day after the Plant fight in February, it's no secret the IBF is the September fight, if Charlo was a real man, he would've pressured and pursued the Plant fight for May or June, to get the IBF belt and call Canelo's bluff for a September fight. Instead what's he doing?

BTW, I'm not talking about Canelo anymore in this thread. This is a Beterbiev thread. Not going to continue to highjack it.

It doesn't work that way with Beterbiev and Bivol. Even if they want to fight each other, which I have zero doubts they do, Beterbiev works for Bob Arum. Bivol works for Eddie Hearn. That means both Bob and Eddie need to sign off on the fight. And then after that is done with, Bob and Eddie need to reach an agreement beteween they greedy asses. That's not easy. But it isn't over yet. Now you have to pitch it to the right network, and the networks aren't going to bend over backwards to work with each other since only hardcore fans of boxing care about Beterbiev and Bivol. Many many many many many berriers to that fight getting made, so you can't accuse either one of ducking.

I don't understand the hate. At all. Beterbieve has never ducked anybody, and it's not like he ever talked trash about canelo, a reporter asked him if he'd fight him and he said sure. Why the hate.

Let's look at it this way - who do you see actively calling out Beterbiev? Who has he ever been credibly accused of ducking? Who has he ever ducked? And don't say Bivol, I just explained why he's not ducking.

Except Canelo has a substantial resume of other, better fights to offset Yldirim.

Trout, Lara, Cotto etc.

I'm not sticking up for the fight man, Most mandatories are ****ing awful, and when they're not, most guys drop the title. I'm just saying that some guys have the clout to get out of mandatories. Artur is not one of those guys.

That said, Gvozdyk, Cloud, Hot Rod, and Johnson are all really good names on the resume with only fifteen fights IMO. Especially when you consider everyone except the judges saw Hot Rod beat Marcus Browne. Hopefully he's fighting Joe Smith Jr. after this.

Facts man, you stated it the best. Let me put it this way. Most boxers work for their promoters and networks. Beterbiev works for Bob Arum and espn. Beterbiev doesn't have the power to pick all of this fights so I'm not gonna knock him for it.

Canelo Alvarez, the promoters WORK FOR HIM. The networks WORK FOR HIM. The WBC WORKS FOR HIM. Whoever he wants to fight, they go along with. So when a fight gets made that we don't wanna see, there's nobody to blame but Canelo Alvarez.
