They've signed a contract agreeing to fight each other on whatever terms were negotiated, date and venue TBA, which is exactly what happened with Fury/Wilder 2.

According to Arum the networks were agreed early on and are part of the contract ..

The venue (or more likely the site fee) could scupper the deal.

And I still don't see anything announced about the networks.

Fury said it during a interview, or on a video update on social media.

Almost a year ago Fury was shouting down the camera, that the fight has been agreed.

            Negotiated?

The article says they're still hunting investors to get purses, a venue, and a date. So what is actually agreed? DAZN and ESPN agreed to a co-distributorship or some such? Promoters have figured out their percentages for a fight that doesn't have the investors lined up to even project a figure?

Purses, venues, dates, not done, but, we got the TV and managerial cuts worked out?

Don't mistake me, I'm not nor never have been an "it's not happening" guy, but, yeah, you're right, this is exactly the reason why Wilder I and II are two years apart. TF do I have to get excited about? They're gonna fight one day, probably?

Holy sheets this news has got the pro PBC hate brigade sizzling. They can't stand it. So funny. I see one of the morons has already started bringing up Wilders flimsy 50 million Dollar offer that came with not a single term or condition, like that was ever real and like that means anything at all.

Enjoy your overpriced bum fight PPV's brought to you by mr Haymon. Leave the biggest fight in the sport to the real ppl.

Both Wilder/Fury fights were announced as done deals, with dates but no venues announced in either case. (did a check to refresh my memory)

The delay between the 2 Fury/Wilder fights happened because the drawn result voided the original rematch clause and Fury went in a different direction after signing a deal with TR.

From what I've heard and read, Fury, AJ, their promoters and their networks have agreed and signed off on all terms. The proposed date will be sometime in late June/early July, and their are at least 2 possible venues still in the running to host the fight.
