But ne ways. The common factor between Forrest and Winky, is that they both started their attack with the jab. That was Shane's weakness. Against those naturally bigger fighters, they used a beautiful long stiff jab. Trinidad never displayed that...which is why I think he'll beat him to the punch...
      thats why I mentioned Vargas...

and the sun didnt "come up".....It would have to go up...to come down....

I do agree with what you said.....

Also to the guy who said he never seen tito use the jab he obviously never seen trinidad fights i got the collection watch his early fights and even his fight after the hopkins bout when he fought chariffi he did use his jab just that later in his career he would fall in love with his left hook more and more. It would be of been a hell of a fight with possibly both touching the canvas but i got tito in 9
I didn't see this historic Ray Robinson-esque jab against Oscar, Whitaker, Hopkins, Vargas, Camacho, or Wright. How far do we need to go back? Amateur? There's no way he KO's Mosley. Everybody's acting like SSM is easy to hit. He has decent head movement and a great chin. If anybody's getting KO'd it would be Trinidad. Vargas was even outboxing Tito in the middle rounds until he got caught.

u said it correctly until he got caught. Mayorga was able to hit shane so was slow ass margarito tito would connect. Against wright or mayorga or after he wasnt in his prime by then but if you never seen tito use the jabbefore you must not have watched all tito fights thats what im saying. Anyways like i said i got tito by ko. If you dont like it well thats your opinion

i dont belive anyone thought that they would REALLY fight in 2006
They were never going to fight any sooner they never had a reason too no one ever thought they would, why would they?

Tito fought Oscar in 1999 and jumped to JMW to fight David Reid for the WBA belt and vargas for the IBF in 2000.
In 2001 he was a middleweight fighting Hopkins and Joppy. 1 fight in 2002 and then retired until 2004 and again2005 until last year .

Mosley was a lightweight until 1999, so they just missed eachother.

Yeah, this is all opinion-oriented. But you said Mayorga and Margarito was able to catch Shane. Shane was 37 years old and that fight was @ 154.

so what tito fought mayorga at 160 plus on a 2 year lay off and plus mayorga was younger he was the first one to crack that chin. Shane mosley was 37 or so but still he shouldnt have been in a life or death fight vs mayorga who got destroyed by tito then by oscar and wasnt getting any better.

No. Styles make fights. You can't do the triangle theory ever. That doesn't work. Mayorga fighting Trinidad was rediculous. Mayorga put on 13 pounds of fat. He never trained he lost weight dramatically and fought Trinidad.

Same reason De La hoya never fought Forrest nor Winky Wright. Mosley was a threat.
